This electric cooktop is well made from quality materials. It appears durable and rugged. There are two burners, with one being larger than the other. The larger burner does seem to heat up quicker. But both heat up very quickly. There are 9 power seatings for each burner. The knobs adjust the power settings in precise increments, and the power setting is noted by an LED digit on the cooktop surface. The cooktop can be used on the counter surface or installed as a drop in. There is a fairly short electric cord with a standard 110v plug at the end. Clean up is a jiffy with the flat ceramic surface that wipes off clean very easily with a damp rag. Any type of cookware can be used on this cooktop as long as it has a flat bottom. The item is as described. I am very pleased with this item and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly reccommends this product!!

Perfect for a quick way to create a food prep area in our basement for guests. It can either be permanently mounted in the counter, or it can sit on the countertop with the included rubber feet.

Quick to heat up, great touch buttons. Two burners are a great addition when I need to cook more than the capacity of my stove (or just want to spread things out). But really I love having this for emergencies, where I could use it with my battery solar power station. Works great.

This item is as expected. This cook top is small and easy to setup. It can be used as in on a counter top or be installed in a counter top. We are using it as a counter top in our house and in our RV. Very easy to transfer between the two. Great for extra burners for cooking large meal. Heats up very quickly. It does stay hot for a while after turning off but mine and my moms built in do stay on for a while after turning off. It is a built in safety option to prevent burning hands and other objects. The red light is a heat warning.Good product but a bit expensive. Not a bad price for us because it is so easy for us to setup and use. Would buy again at this price.

In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge.This is an attractive cook-top auxiliary burner set. The knobs are large and well placed. It is also suitable for in countertop mounting and the necessary hardware is provided.The problem is that it takes a ridiculously long time to reach operating temperature. I placed 3 quarts of water in a saucepan and using the larger burner I set the temperature to the maximum. It took 25 to 30 minutes to reach 190 degrees F. After half an hour still not boiling and only 3 quarts. During this time I could hear a relay clicking in and out - I'm sure the temperature sensor is defective.I also tried to boil about 2 inches of water in a very small pot. This took took an inordinate amount of time to boil although I didn't measure it.Basically, this cook-top is unusable.Should you still decide to order, wait a while if you intend to do an in counter top assembly. I would also make sure that the cutout size is a standard for these type of units. If it doesn't work or fails in a short period of time, you want to make sure you can replace it with something else.

I live in a RV and I absolutely refuse to use propane, which knocks out oven use. So, I needed a cooktop burner and opted to try this out.I like that you can use it as is or set it into it's own nook. I need to use it on my counter, dur to a lack of space. It heats up quickly and efficiently. I like that it's touch-based. So far, it hasn't been overly sensitive. Not all of my pans work on it, just the flat ones. It can be a con, if you have rounded pans.I noticed that the larger burner heats up faster than the smaller one, but that's not really an issue for me personally.Overall, I don't know if I would purchase this again. It is pricey, compared to other cook tops that aren't built in, but for now, it's enough.

I absolutely love this 2-burner electric stove! It’s compact, sleek, and perfect for my small apartment. The burners heat up quickly and evenly, making cooking a breeze. I got this because I do cooking videos online, but I don't have a large kitchen and needed something to help me film in a better location, and this allows me to do that. I think it would look prettier if it was in counter (which it's 100% designed to do that), but I wasn't going for looks, I was going for usability. This is perfect for what I needed it for. It heats up quickly and evenly and the gold knobs make it look more chic, which I also love for videos. The little feet for the bottom for counter top use are easy to put on and are incredibly stable. The dials are easy to use and it's fairly easy to clean-sort of like a glass stovetop. Very happy with this burner.
