Plummer busted my cleanout plug. Worked and fit in a cleanout opening where the threads were unusable because of rust. Only wish the wing nut was metal instead of plastic.

This filled an unused, emergency only drain hole in our basement. It was perfect because you can get it to fit tightly by adjusting/expanding it.

i bought this to seal the casing on a hand drilled well. i ended up turning this on a lath for some reason, and the rubber, did actually cut to the specs that i wanted. i did not expect this to work.while i no longer use this, i opted up to a 4 inch casing, this jewel was great and i may replace it with a larger size to seal the casing tighter. although it is sealed against water and bugs, it could be sealed better

I HAD A PLUMBING ISSUE IN MY BASEMENT AND HAD TO BUY THIS PIECE TO FILL THE CIRCULAR GAP IN THE BASEMENT ONCE THE DRAIN PERSON CLEANED THE CLOG. WORKS JUST FINE. HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE.

I intended to use this expansion plug on the fill hole on a deck umbrella base. The hole measures 2.5 inches in diameter. The dimensions of the 2.5" expansion plug purchased is only a maximum of 2.5" not the 3" x 3" noted in the online description. Also, it is not an expansion plug. The plug is made of very solid rubber that has no chance of expanding when the wing-nut is tightened. The item has been returned.
