This product is very helpful to hang my horse’s winter coat when he goes inside the barn. My horse is outside in the winter for about 7 hours. This product fits great on the outside of his stall.

This blanket bar is plenty deep to fit either several thin blankets or 2 thick blankets. I docked a star because one of the pieces that assemble didn't quite fit into the blanket bar correctly, it still works but it would be 5/5 if both buttons fit into the little assembly holes the same.

Works to hold horse winter blankets. Definitely will only hold 1 blanket. Need multiple holders

My daughter has owned a horse for a couple of years now and always needs a place to hold his saddle pads and such while tending to him. Since we don't own the stalls, she rides from, we can't install anything permanently, but this would work well since you just toss it up on a door or wall and the hooks hold it in place.Assembly is very simple. There are three pieces total, two end pieces with hooks and a single long bar that goes between them. There were no instructions, but also none really necessary as the hooked pieces simply slide on to the bar. The two hooks each have a little spring-loaded pin that then locks into place through a hole on the longer bar.Though I said simple assembly, that would be the normal case. In our case, there appears to be a manufacturing defect whereby the spring-loaded pin on one of the end pieces simply will not align properly with the desired hole. This is the reason for the low marks in the rating, since the product is frankly unusable as delivered. We could stick it on the stall without things being locked in place, but the odds of it simply falling off under the weight of a blanket or such is too great and goods you are attempting to secure will simply be laying on the ground.The pin on the other hooked end works perfectly fine on either side, so it appears the pin location on the one end piece is simply manufactured in the wrong spot. I'm going to attempt to fix this by filing down the end of the tube. I will then have to repaint the piece to keep it from rusting, but I should be able to move the pin closer to the intended position that way.In addition, even in just testing it for a few minutes attempting to get the pieces to fit properly, the paint is already coming off of where the tubes slide together. We live in a high humidity area and I'm afraid these are going to rust very quickly with the paint scraping off each time you assemble/disassemble.I do like the idea of it and while it will be a pain I shouldn't need to endure to fix the issue, I believe I can make the repair. The paint coming off under normal use is also an issue though.

I don't have a horse, but was hoping to use this to hang a quilt off my closet doors during the off season when it's too warm for the bed. I really should have measured it first! The mistake is mine for not paying attention.But I did end up using this outside on my deck. I hang covers for the deck furniture and my grill on it and it's been a great way to keep these off the ground, tidy, and out of the way when sitting outside or grilling.

Love how easy this is to use, fits over a normal 2 inch wide stall front. Great to take on the road to keep saddle pads from sitting on a saddle or under one, helps air out a sweaty one. Fits a good size western pad too.Super easy to assemble and disassemble.

This is a nice, portable blanket holder. It sticks out from the wall enough so you can hang a thick blanket. The hooks on either end are handy. Are use it in my trailer to bring to shows. I like the fact that it’s portable, and it can fit almost anywhere.
