It can be configured to push in the puck, or configured to spread the caliper. I size it up against an old caliper, and it seems like it'll be just fine. It's not a complicated thing, and it seems very robust. I'm very satisfied.

Only gripe is no storage case - but is clear from ad that one isn't included and at the price a case would be a lot to ask. The tool itself works well and offers options for different sized caliper pistons.
