The description clearly says they’re stainless steel. They are not. They are “chrome plated” per what the package says. They are not as heavy as they would be if they were stainless steel. Still okay, so I will keep them since the price was good.

The price was right was a plus. I do wish I'd spent a little more, for the one time I've used one, it didn't cut through the sealed envelope as easily as I had hoped. To be fair, I don't have a lot of strength in my hands.
