The bread pan is about two-thirds, the size of other bread makers so adjust accordingly. It made a nice loaf of bread. It's just a little smaller than what you might expect.Update: The breadmaker is working just fine and the company reached out to me explaining it's design. I have to say, this is the best customer service I have ever received.

I received the 2LB Bread Maker Smart Dual-Heaters, 19-in-1 Aluminum Compact Bread Machine yesterday. It comes with a nice recipe book, instructions and a measuring cup, scoop. The nonstick bowl is easy to clean. It locks and unlocks easily in place. There’s so many things this does besides just bread! This unit is smaller than my Panasonic Bread Machine that I had before but says it’s 2lbs as well. It’s light enough to move around/store as needed.I am excited to use it but I need to get the proper flour first. My flour was bad.I’ll update in a few days.Update:I made a small “quick bread” for my first one.New flour and new yeast. There was an odd crunch to the bread like the yeast didn’t quite dissolve or something (my water was the correct temperature per the recipe)? Their bread was ok but I’m going to try another recipe next like sweet bread or whole wheat. It was the first loaf. It wasn’t bad, just not great.I used the medium color but it looks lighter to me.Slicing with a bread knife was hard when still warm, it tore.I’ll update on other recipes I try.I’m going to try to make a jam too.

The good: Nonstick pan works fine. Locks into place and releases with slight twist. Supplied hook is nice - it’s very handy for removing paddle from bottom of hot loaf, as well as lifting the pan handle up. Machine itself is compact with relatively easy to understand controls for selecting the cycle (by number) loaf size, crust color. Can pause machine as needed. Machine automatically starts a one hour keep warm cycle upon baking completion. The not so good: The manual makes several references to the “recipe book” - but the machine we got had no such recipe book. Further - the manual in general was poorly translated and difficult to understand. Cycles listed in manual do not match machine; Customer service from the seller (via the email address printed in the manual) has said that supposedly the cycles printed on the lid are correct. Our experience: We got this machine specifically because it claims to be gluten free friendly. (A couple of people in my household have Celiac, so being able to make GF food is pretty critical to us.) So if you’re looking to make regular old normal bread, this section of the review may not apply to you.Unfortunately, our experience does not support the GF claim, and despite several attempts, we have have not had any real success so far.For example - on the GF cycle, the ingredients do not get mixed well on first stir, and need to be scraped off sides and into dough manually, so that pretty much precludes us using the advertised "delay start" feature. The GF basic recipe in the manual yields an inedible brick. Actually, two bricks - using different GF flour mixes. So if you get this machine, ignore the recipes in there. We have so far made 2 different recipes found elsewhere on the web with somewhat passable results, but loaves did not come out as expected. Since GF bread can be tricky, its unclear if a different machine would get better results. We’re still experimenting with different bread machine recipes for GF bread from other sources in search of better results. We’ll come back and update with more info if we find one that gives good results.Photos are the results of some of our efforts so far.In summary: If you’re looking to make fresh homemade gluten free bread, this probably isn’t the machine for you. It seems to be a decent machine otherwise, which is why it still got 3 stars, but so far it’s not a winner for this GF family.

This review is for the “ 19-in-1 Stainless Steel Bread Maker Machine With Smart Dual-Heaters, Quiet Bread Machine With 15H Timer&1H Keep Warm, Auto Breadmaker With Nonstick Pan, Gluten Free, Sourdough, 3 Crust Color, Purple“I love to make my own bread, but with my old hands the kneading part is getting harder and harder. It is time to give a bread machine a chance. I had one many years ago, it was big and very heavy, another thing my hands don’t like any more. So I ordered this beautiful purple bread machine.First of all it is light weight and the light purple is really pretty. The bread maker has 19 preset programs, that do not only include a variety of breads but also how to make jam, cake and yoghurt. There are general instructions on what, how, when and how much and then there is a separate booklet with recipes for the 19 different settings. There is also a delay timer for up to 15 hours. The kit includes simple measuring utilities, a hook and a mitten to handle the hot pan.I set out to make a sourdough bread since a friend had just given me a good starter. To my surprise the sourdough recipe only needed 1/4 teaspoon of sourdough starter but it also asked for 1/4 teaspoon of yeast. I was suspicious but did follow the recipe. I used the bigger loaf and dark crust setting. The bread came out smelling and looking great and it tasted delicious. It yielded about 11 slices of- I have a hand crank slicer to cut bread evenly. The digital display is a bit hard to read on the outside perimeter. I had to put my glasses on to see the small black numbers and arrows corresponding to the bread type setting. (Photo)I did get used to it quickly and wont have issues next time. But I screwed up… all my fault… when I took the bread out of the bread pan I did it over the sink where my husband had the disposal running. I did initially not even hear that the stirring knife/paddle fell into the disposal. When he asked me what I just threw in there I was like- oh no!!. I fished the knife out, it had taken severe scratching damage. I sent an e-mail with a picture to the customer service team asking where I can buy another knife. In the meantime we truly enjoyed the bread, it was soft, sourdoughy and had a great crust. It sliced perfectly after cooling down. The representative answered my e-mail after just a few hours and offered to replace the pan and knife for free!!!! including free shipping from Asia. I am flabbergasted, that is such great and generous service, and it was my fault, not the equipments fault. The seller offers a free 2 year extra long warranty including accessory replacement.I cant wait to get my new knife to make more home made bread with this great machine. 5 stars well deserved!
