Easy To Cleaning Your Grill Grates
Before you oil your grill grates, it's important to brush off any burned food particles that might be left from the last time you barbecued.
The easiest way to do this is with a premium nylon grill brush. It allows you to clean off your grates without turning the grill on. Simply scrub the grates until all burned food is removed.

I have an older (2010 or thereabouts) Weber Genesis grill. All the stores locally had replacement cast iron cooking grates for the Genesis II. Luckily, this company was very specific on which grate was for which model and even included the model years in the description. I did measure my old, corroded and broken grates and these matched perfectly.They fit right into the grill, are very solid and pretty much the same as the OEM and much more expensive Weber branded. These are made in China, but so are pretty much all (or most) Weber Grills and components.I heated up the grill to burn off any manufacturing contaminants, let them cool, cleaned with a rag and water, then heated up again and let them cool a bit before seasoning them with cooking oil. First grill session was burgers and they worked perfectly. Excellent grill marks, nice even heating. I should have bought these two years ago when my grates were showing a lot of wear. Really makes a diffference.TL/DR: Perfect fit for older Weber Genesis gas grills and they are cast iron so nothing magical, you just save some money for the same product without the Weber packaging.
