Does the job of receiving the BT audio from an Apple TV box and feeding it to my stereo amp, but there are some caveats;During moments of silence in tv shows, there’s like an audible ‘twitch’. It occurs again as silence is broken. It’s quite strange and once you hear it you can’t unhear it.This thing has to be turned all the way up to get any sound. My iPhone 13 can’t see it, neither can my 2021 MBP. I’d hoped for a really easy home audio all-devices streaming experience but this isn’t quite it.It’s inexpensive though, so there’s that.

I purchased this because I wanted to be able to play music wirelessly over BT.SKIP the next paragraph if you only want to read about Mypin BT unit!I had a CRV before where I was able to swap out the factory head unit for an aftermarket one with CarPlay and AndroidAuto, but this 2009 Honda Pilot Touring had the Navigation that is integrated into the rest of the center stack. There are no compatible head units that were made for trims with the Navigation. The only option was something called NavTool which adds CarPlay to the factory navigation screen, but there was no way I was going to shell out $500 USD for that. Once you have CarPlay or AndroidAuto, it’s hard to go back.Playing music over BT isn’t that bad and I can use my phone for navigation. This car being from 2009 had BT Handsfree CALLING only so there was no music playback over BT available. The only other options were the 3.5mm AUDIO jack/iPod jack in the car. I have an iPhone 12 and the iPod connection is finicky, sometimes it let me play music, sometimes it didn’t. A lot of the time, my phone would just charge without being detected. I bought the Mypin unit after seeing some reviews on YouTube saying how the audio quality is very good. I tried an FM transmitter for BT playback but it sounded awful. BT audio quality is always going to suffer but the Mypin unit actually had very crisp sounding audio. The bass is deep and acoustics are great as well. With the Mypin unit, the stock SUB in the car was very punchy just like if I used a wired connection, the FM transmitter sounded very quiet and muffled. For $40 CAD, this is one of the better deals you can find in terms of price-performance.

I bought this to be an easy alternative to the dingus dongle issue that plagues new phones like mine and my wife's; I have an android phone, she has an iPhone, and swapping those little dongles around without losing them in order to hook up to my kitchen's sound system gets to be a pain. And we lost hers, so...this thing. It's inexpensive, so my expectations were low; all I wanted was for it to work, and not need any kind of serious tweaking or maintenance. The good news is that it works perfectly; it was easy to set up and connect to, and fit the needs I bought it for perfectly. It's unobtrusive, seems to have good range, and I haven't had a problem with it since I plugged it in.It's not a perfect product; be aware that it uses USB power and doesn't have any kind of external power adapter or anything. I had a wall socket expansion adapter already in the spot where I went to use it that had two USB plugs for charging phones built into it, and that worked perfectly; just be aware that you're going to need something like that wherever you go to use this. The volume dial is also pretty spongy, it doesn't feel particularly solid and I'm a little worried that it'll break down the road.Otherwise, though, for the price it's a pretty good deal. I have it plugged into an Orb Mini-T amplifier connected to a pair of bookshelf speakers in my kitchen, and it works great and puts out a fair amount of volume. The sound isn't as clear as using the headphone jack, but it's close enough that it's not going to bother 90%+ of people out there. It connected simply to both my Samsung phone and my wife's iPhone; just plug it in, set the input to the first, and then use Bluetooth to pair the phone to "GVAudio" and it was set up and ready to go. The only thing to be aware of in that situation was that if we're both in the room, it'll only pair to one phone at a time, so you might need to disable/enable Bluetooth on one phone or the other to ensure the one you want is connected.Overall, I don't have any complaints about it. It's not a high end piece of equipment, so as long as your expectations are right for the price of it, it's a decent buy that'll get the job done.

I’ve tried a few different Bluetooth receivers in this price range, and haven’t been super impressed. Decided to give this one a try and was extremely impressed. The sound quality was great (for Bluetooth), it is extremely quiet (most of my other ones have a fair bit of hiss and background noise), and I love that it has a hi/low gain switch and a volume knob. All the others ones I’ve tried are way too quiet - with the high gain and volume, I’m really able to boost the Bluetooth volume, while keeping the background noise super low, which is awesome. I don’t know how well the other inputs work, since I didn’t really need those. For the price, I’m extremely happy. My only two complaints, if you could call them that, are that the volume pot feels cheap (when turning it, you can tell it’s not a high quality potentiometer) and that I really wished I could connect multiple Bluetooth devices to it and use the input select switch to select between them. Instead, the input select only selects between Bluetooth, optical, and coax (and I’m never gonna use the optical and coax inputs). However, both of those are minor quibbles, especially for how much I paid. All in all, I’m super pleased, and will likely be buying a couple more for my other stereos.**update** I’ve been listening to it for a few days now and have a couple additional items I wanted to add to my review.1) I continue to be incredibly impressed with the sound quality - it’s the best Bluetooth adapter I’ve heard, and, on the small stereo system I’m listening to (25 year old Sony receiver and Bose speakers, so hardly a hifi rig), practically indistinguishable from plugging directly in.2) The big negative - the Bluetooth range is pretty poor. I was hoping that, with the antenna, the range would be increased. Unfortunately, that’s not really the case, and this really is limited to that 15 foot range of many Bluetooth devices. It seems they chose to emphasize sound quality over range, which I totally understand. I’m just a little disappointed I couldn’t have BOTH range and sound quality. To sum up, I think this little Bluetooth adapter is an amazing deal. I contemplated taking a star off (making it 4 out 5) for the disappointing range, but, for the price, really couldn’t justify that. For the money, it performs well above expectations, and for that I feel justified in giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Were I to have spent more than the $25-ish that I paid, though, I would have needed to see an increased range to continue justifying the 5 stars. All in all, highly recommended, especially for situations where sound quality is more important than range.

This item solved buzzing issue I was experiencing with a $10 DAC for TV to stereo sound. No objectionable noise introduced changing inputs or volume.Bluetooth was a bonus, pairs easily, can't flaw it.The volume control applies to all inputs, may not suit everyone but works for me.Headphone output does not mute RCA output, which is bit unusual but you can turn off the receiver when using headphones. All in all a great little unit, I'm really pleased with it.

I wanted a quick and dirty wireless solution, but I wasn't really thinking about audio quality. However, the audio quality is pretty good! I thought this device would be really bad, but I was wrong, it's quick but not dirty. The only mistake I made was not turning the volume up when I set it up, because the output is variable and not fixed. I thought it was defective, but it just needs the volume knob turned up. Bluetooth setup was quick and flawless. The Bluetooth range is fine in my listening area and the connection is stable. This is a very basic DAC AMP, but it works nicely as a a headphone amp or Bluetooth connection to an amp.I hooked this up to an Arcam A19 and it sounded pretty good. I have better DACs, but this one was $25 and it sounds good, good enough until my wireless amp arrives. And it's wireless, that was the main feature I bought it for.
