This is really good for a costume. The hat is fits well and the suspenders and bow tie complete the look.

We ordered this for my kid to use at a costume party and the hat was so smushed and flat it was hard to even steam it back into shape and the suspender fell apart when we tried them on the day they came, so yeah needless to say we had to order something else because of how cheaply made this set was and the suspenders were the main reasons we ordered this to try. The bow tie was also a very flimsy excuse for a bowtie even for a costume set. We would not recommend or order again.

I just wanted this set as props for some pictures, it did the job but I will say the suspenders were an absolute nightmare! One side kept breaking, the little metal clips would fly off and it was impossible to adjust the size. We got the pictures done but it took some serious effort!

My grandson is going to a Murder Mystery party tonight and he is supposed to be a 40's style gangster. The hat is the primary reason we ordered this, $9.99 is a great price for the costume hat, suspenders and bow tie. It's crazy to me how the hat pops into shape after arriving flat. I left it sitting out all night on a table and now the creases are gone and it doesn't look costume quality anymore, it looks real. 5 rows of topstitching across the brim, top of the hat is sewn on properly and double topstitched, hatband is double topstitched, stiffener has been applied to keep it's shape, and the hatband inside is soft and comfortable. Suspenders and bow tie are great. I don't know what more you could ask for a theater type set for this price!

We had a '20s party to go to and this little outfit came just as advertised. I looked like somebody cool from a bygone era - like Gatsby - at least in my mind.
