This adjustable pole works great. All my dusting and cleaning attachments fit perfectly on this pole. With this pole, I'm able to clean and dust all the baseboards in my home. Then I just extend it a little farther and I can dust all the doorways and corners up by the ceiling to get any webs that my have popped up. (inside and outside). This pole is strong and easy to adjust. It makes cleaning so much easier and quicker. I also plan to use it this spring for washing my windows outside. I have very high windows that I could not reach without a ladder. This pole will work great!

I bought this pole because I needed something to clean out tanks up to 500 gallons. My biggest concern was that the pole wouldn't lock solidly when extended. That was not a problem at all. The problem is that I had to work to collapse the pole. That's a good problem because you know the pole won't collapse while working, getting you upset and possibly injured. The pole is lighter than some poles I looked at at other stores. If a pole was lighter or about the same weight, it didn't lock very well.I could have paid less for a 10-foot pole, but I wouldn't have been as pleased. That alone is worth the price. Of course, that is something that the individual has to decide for themselves. The practicality of this pole earned a five-star rating .

A picture is worth a thousand words so here is 2. Very simply the carbon fiber allows for an extremely sturdy extension pole that breaks down almost as small as a 3’ painter’s extension and is not only longer than the expensive 8’ pole but is also firmer and so much easier to store. I use a carbon fiber fishing pole, have oars and a bike made from it. I think I’ve even had boots that used it in place of steel toes. It’s lighter than just about anything with a similar strength so this is a lightweight, strong and high quality extension pole that breaks down small enough to easily store. It’s also less expensive than the larger one pictured next to it. Sounds about perfect to me.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this extension pole. It is very solid, extends smoothly and tightens easily to whatever length you need. It is also light weight so it is not clumsy or awkward to handle when it is fully extended. We have 12' ceilings so we really needed something like this to help reach the cobwebs in the corners. This pole is perfect for our needs. Our duster head screwed right on.You do have to turn the handles an awful lot to extend it though.

When I removed the pole from the box at first I thought I was in love. But that feeling quickly went away when I tried to extend the pole.Unlike my other polls that can be quickly and easily extended or reduced, with infinite length options between minimum and maximum length, this pole is the exact opposite. When you want to extend or reduce the length of the pole you have to twist it multiple times to unscrew the threads and then you only have one choice which is to fully extend or reduce that piece and then again have to twist it multiple times to lock it in place. This is time consuming, annoying, and limits your flexibility as to length. If I wanted to use this pole at a fixed length and leave it there, and I was happy with the limited options on length, it would be great. But if you want to expand and collapse it on a regular basis and do it quickly and efficiently, this pole probably isn't for you.So yes, it's super light, it's beautiful looking, and it's very stiff, but it's also somewhat impractical for regular use at different lengths.I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking.

I have a similar extension pole from a big-name brand that's approximately the same length when fully extended. This one is noticeably lighter, extends slightly more (is longer, overall), and collapses to a smaller size. So why not five stars? There's no locking mechanism to positively lock in the sections after they've been extended. The tolerances are fairly tight, so things are "stable enough" (i.e., unlikely to spontaneously collapse) under many use cases, but in situations where you're subjecting the head to considerable pressure, the telescoping sections could slip. I'm guessing that they wanted to avoid pressurized collars to avoid risking cracking the carbon fiber... but not sure. In any case, this is a great pole for any sort of light use (dusting, cleaning out cobwebs, maybe changing lightbulbs or gently washing windows). For use cases where you're subjecting it to a good deal of pressure (say, scrubbing aluminum siding... which was my intended use case), the absence of locking mechanisms to hold extended sections in place may be an issue.
