It is light weight and will keep your bits organized. The screw for carbinar is a little hard to match, and there is no stopper for the carbinar so screw will just keep on spinning. It is light weight and is easy to use.

This is such a simple, obvious, and useful item words cannot describe. You need a million drill bits, a million driver bits, but you probably use the same 5 for 90% of your work. With these, you can have them close at hand on your tool belt, or attached to your tool bag. The time and frustration you will save digging for that specific bit for the tapcon pilot holes will more than pay for itself with this purchase. This is really a genius, simple, effective organization solution, and they are nice quality. I have one attached to my "electrician" kit with my 5/8ths spade bit, and a square driver bit for example. It resolves my organizational urge to keep "all my spade bits together" and "all my driver bits in the driver kit" by giving me a separate "most commonly used bits ready to go" kit. Recommended.

I've got plenty of driver bits, but can usually never find them when needed ... I'm not very well disciplined about putting things back in their place, as well as forgetful. This holder helps me tremendously. I have my most often used bits on the ring, and just have the set with me whenever i walk away from the workbench with a driver. When I swap bits, the one I take out goes right back into the holder. And while I can never seem to "see" a single lose bit right before my eyes, I can see the ring of bits quite easily ... so no more wasted time looking for bits. Going to get another one to put the most used drill bits on for the same reasons. There are probably other / larger things - similar to bits - that would be a benefit to me if I could have them all grouped to easily to find and swap out when needed that would make me overall more productive.

I’m just an DIY kind of guy so I picked up this drill bit holder after reading about all its great features. As soon as it arrived, I put it to the test with the tools and I have to say, it lives up to the hype. Here’s what I learned from them (I did compare the information written on the Amazon site so I’ll try to use it so you can decide what to think.)First off, the compatibility is impressive. It fits most 1/4-inch hex shank drill bits and sockets, and it works with my electric and handheld drivers without any issue. I didn’t have to worry about whether my bits would fit—they just did. Which leads me to the quick-change feature the MFG stated. Simply put it is a real timesaver. I was able to swap out bits quickly without any issues. (That part I have to say I had my doubts about until I had them in hand). And YES, that definitely beats lugging around a big box of bits that fall out inside the tool box and rattle.Another thing I appreciate as I get older is saving time and space. These clip right onto my belt loop, so not only is it quicker access right there, but I’m also cnot digging around in my tool bag trying to find these small pieces. I’m assuming this, but the way these are on the large , I think their claim about efficiency is apt. Finally, these really seem to be built tough. “Made from high-grade aluminum alloy” is the claim from the site and I agree. They also claim the bits can hold up to 3 lbs, so now I don’t have to worry about tools -or me as I’m trying to grab them) falling off—especially useful when I’m up on a ladder. So I have to say, overall, this drill bit holder (and the bits) is a handy tool that lives up to the claims.,. If you’re looking for a convenient, durable, and efficient way to manage your drill bits, this is worth every penny. If anything changes I’ll update this. For now, it’s great!

They hold any type of 1/4" bit whether it has the security groove or not (see pic).Likes: - They hold the bits securely. They will NOT accidentally fall off. - I have arthritis in my fingers and I can operate these with one hand. It took a little practice, at first, though. - I can keep my most useful bits in a handy location (like hanging from my shoulder straps, instead of in the bottom of my tool bag. - I have several packs of these so I can color code my rings: Green screw bits, Red for hex sockets etc. So, I can glance at the colors and know what they're for without using my glasses to see the bit heads.Dislikes: - The carabiner's locking mechanism impedes the free movement of the bit holders and causes them to bunch up and get tangled. i recommend replacing the carabiner with a larger ring with no obstructive parts.Tips: - Keep a bit holder on each ring unused. I use silver so when I need to swap bits, I can first secure my old bit to the silver bit holder and then my hand is free to get the bit I need. When I'm done, I know my old bit was in the silver holder. - Keep a locking 1/4" socket driver on one of your rings with a 10mm socket and you'll never lose it again. - As tempting as it may be, resist placing drill bits on one of these rings because it will be banging against all of the other bits and it will quickly dull your drill bits. I still do it when I'm working on a ladder but I remove the drill bit as soon as I get down.
