Pads are good for placing on, or under sole inserts. I read about sticking the pads under an insert and this works great for me since the other option seams to apply more direct pressure to the foot. The key word being direct. I also use the pads near the arch area to have a more aggressive arch.

I had used another metatarsal pad due to a neuroma (Jill's Gels). I thought I'd try these. I want to caution on where to place these. I put mine on my bare bottom foot like I do the gels. It was comfortable and relieved me of my pain. However, when I went to take it off, it ripped my skin terribly and now I have an awful abrasion on my bottom foot. The glue is very strong. I'd recommend putting on the sole of the shoe or the outside of a sock.

How come doctors don’t tell us about this? These really work!!! I had one foot surgery and now I have numb toes. Now they want to perform surgery again. I am so glad I put it off because these strange little pads have saved my foot. I only wish I could find a more recyclable pad. PS: It’s very important that you place it on the right place on your foot. I watched a few YouTube videos.

Work great. I have Mortons Neuroma and these pads relieve it when I walk and play golf.

These were ok, but I prefer the real felt ones that last longer. These seemed to fall apart and are good for only one day wear. Also difficult to separate the peel off backing.

This is a very well made product. Good fabric and adhesion. It did not work well for my metatarsalgia because the cushion was too thick. I eventually felt like I had a rock in my shoe. What worked was buying shoes with a bigger toe box - Hoka One One Bondi and Asics Cumulus shoes did the trick for me. Anyway, they did not work for me, but it is still a good product and will have other uses.

I use them for metatarsal relief. They stay attached well and last quite awhile. It is easier than a $500 insert that I would have to change every time I wanted to wear a different pair of shoes.

These are not as thick as the ones I got from the podiatrist, and they don't stick at all. They came off shortly after installing.

These cushions serve the purpose but they flatten out quickly. And they seem to move just a little so that you get a sticky spot that has your foot sticking to your shoe. I have found that a tiny bit of baby powder takes care of that. I put them onto my foot because that way I can get them positioned better to help relieve the pain on the ball of my foot. The biggest problem with putting them onto your foot is that they come off as soon as they get wet. So you need to put new ones on after your shower which will get pretty pricey if you will need to keep using them. Would be better to put into your shoe if you can get it placed to hit the right spot. I will try a different one when I order again to see if they stay in place better.
