Works as they are supposed to.I used them when I was enclosing my back patio. I still drilled pilot holes to be on the safe side but overall they worked well. You also get a bunch for the price.

The Kevinrooty 180Pcs Concrete Screws Assortment Kit is a fantastic addition to my toolbox! This kit includes both 1/4" and 3/16" screws, providing plenty of options for various projects involving masonry, blocks, or brick. The included drill bit is a great touch, ensuring a perfect fit and making installation straightforward. The flat head design allows for a clean finish, and the screws feel sturdy and reliable. I’ve used them for several different applications, and they’ve held up beautifully. Overall, this assortment kit is an excellent value for anyone tackling concrete projects. Highly recommend!

I do projects around my house. Occasionally, I need to secure something into the concrete around my house. I saw these and asked Amazon to review them.If this is the first time you have used concrete screws, I would like to point out a couple of things to you. First, you just don’t drill the screws into the concrete, like you can in wood. You make a pilot hole to put the screw into. To drill the hole you need a masonry bit and a hammer drill. The hole you drill needs to be a little smaller than the screw and it needs to be the length of the screw, if not a bit longer. Once you drill out the hole you need to clean it out. It’s not like wood that can be forgiving. I point this out because sometimes people complain that the screw, or the drill bit doesn’t work. If you do it right and have the right equipment it makes things so much better. There are 180 screws in this set with 4 different sizes. It comes with 2 masonry drill bits. It is packaged in a decent plastic container. To me the masonry drill bits are cheaply made but will work okay in brick. I have much better drill bits for concrete. The screws are made out of carbon steel, which make them stronger than stainless steel, but it makes them more likely to rust. The screws are coated with a blue rust finish (coating), which is to help prevent rusting. There is no indication on the packaging the hold strength of the screws.I have two criticisms of the screws themselves. The first is that all four sizes have Phillips heads. That might be alright for the small screws, but for the bigger ones that may require more pressure to install, I would rather have had a hex socket. I find them better when you have to apply more pressure. My second criticism is the blue coating. When the box came, I noticed that the blue coating was coming off part of the screws. See photo. When I used a file, it was easy to remove the coating. When I tried to screw one in, much of the coating came off on the front. See photo. I would not have a problem using these inside if they are not close to a source of moisture. I would not use them outside unless I didn’t care about rust.If for some reason you want to use these for wood screws (and I’m not suggesting you do) you need to make a pilot hole the length of the screw. The diamond head is just not good for drilling though wood. These screws are okay for securing things inside you house. My biggest concern outside is rust. You might have a project outside that is only going to last a couple of years. For those things these screws should be okay. If you were talking about many years I don’t think I would use these.

These screws are super hefty and I have no concerns about them holding whatever I put into my concrete garage walls. They are coated to resist corrosion, so they'd be alright even in wetter environments. There are an absolute ton, with long and short variants in two thicknesses. This makes it easy to select which I think I'll need depending on what I'm hanging, and how deep I can go into the wall. I'm going to be set on this type of screw for a long time. Definitely recommended if you need to get serious about anchoring things into masonry.

The plastic box had one of its latches broken off or missing when I received it, but it still stays closed for the most part. The drill bits are pretty mediocre, but they included a couple, so it's better than nothing. The screws are as good as what you get in the store. They have a nice deep phillips head, though I do normally prefer another drive type, such as hex, torx or square. I don't use concrete screws all the time, so an assortment, for me, was the way to go. Keep in mind that these are flat head, like wood screws. So really, they are most appropriate for attaching wood or something that is already countersunk.

I ordered these to install various decorative items and lighting on my backyard block fence. I didn't need so many but the price was very good for this 180 piece set.I also liked that this set came with masonry drill bits as well as its own carrying case that keeps everything separate and organized. The quality is really good and the screws performed well without breaking. This specific kit of 3/16" and 1/4" screws are heavy duty and would be considered overkill in most cases and most homeowner needs. You can hang some heavy objects with this set.Great masonry screw kit at a good price.

This assortment kit is a solid choice for anyone in need of dependable screws for masonry, block, or brick cement projects. This set stands out for its versatility, offering both 1/4" and 3/16" screws, which makes it well-suited for various applications. Personally, I find myself using the 1/4" screws most frequently due to their superior strength and reliability, especially for more demanding tasks. However, having the 3/16" screws on hand is incredibly convenient for lighter-duty jobs where less strength is required. One downside, though, is the packaging. Unfortunately, the case arrived open, and all the screws were mixed up, which was a bit of a hassle to sort through. Despite this, the quality of the screws and the included drill bit more than makes up for it. Overall, it's a very good set for general-purpose use, but it would benefit from more secure packaging.
