I bought this to modify a high pressure CO2 hose that connects from 20lb tank to small 60L soda maker tank to do refilling. That hose was great except the angle with which hose connected to smaller receiving tank was not ideal and this connector would allow me to rotate the smaller tank so that it was in a better position to receive liquid CO2. There are two small gaskets that come with this but no instructions or pictures. I didn't know whether to use both or one and keep one as a backup. It turns out that without both there were leaks where the male part connects to the female part of itself. I would think that since these parts are engineered together that they would be a tight fit but they were not. Gas leaked even when using both gaskets. I had to use white pipetape around the male threads 3 to 4 times and both gaskets to eventually get a tight seal. This required me to screw and unscrew the connection (with double wrenches) 5 or 6 times to finally get it to make a good seal and not leak C02. It could be better engineered, but for the price I am not going to complain. Someone else may not be as experienced and would not know how to fix the leaking connection so keep that in mind when purchasing.

These are stainless steel, nicely machined with smooth surfaces. Threaded parts go together smoothly. They mate properly with the PCP fittings on my air rifles and high-pressure pump. Also included are a protector for the male nipple and extra seal. Couldn't be better!
