Half of the racks of nails are broken into separate segments.

These 2” 18-gauge brad nails are very good. They fit my pneumatic nailer without any issues and they don’t jam. That is very important to me because I don’t want to take time away from the job working on clearing a tool. I have had no problems with these brad nails. They drive smoothly into the material and respond to the depth setting just fine. Overall, they work as good as any brad nails, I have ever used. They come in a plastic, snap latch case. This is a great way to store and carry them if the box holds shipping stresses. The plastic the case is made of is easily snapped. But, it is still better than a box that is easily crushed and a bit of a hassle to open and close. This is simply a good set of 2” 18-gauge brad nails. I would say they are a decent value.

I received the nails with the plastic box they come in shattered into a thousand pieces, and some of the nail strips coming apart. Amazon put this on a box 5 times it's size with like half of a you-know-what wipe worth of packing paper.I returned it, TWICE. Both times, they replacements ALSO came back with the case shattered, and totally inappropriate packaging by amazon. The last one I got has all the nail racks intact, so I'm keeping it.To be clear - THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT'S FAULT. Amazon needs to stop messing them up.Seller should probably just stick it inside of foam before sending to amazon. The nails work great! Good deal and get the job done. The plastic case WOULD be great - it's actually decently tough. Strong enough to be in my toolbag, and strong enough to survive a fall from 5 feet 10 times over are very different things.

The product here is fine, but the handy plastic storage case - which is why I bought them - does not survive shipping: I ordered two sets and through a combined five (5!) different shipments from Amazon, only one survived intact; the others were smashed to bits with the result that the brad strips were broken apart and scattered all over the shipping box. Good product if you can get it intact. Good luck!

These nails arrived in a brown bag type of envelope. There was no padding that I could see, and the plastic case was beat to hell. It had already been taped up with packing tape somewhere along the route to my house so I could not tell you where this got beat up. The nails all appeared to be intact and after cutting away all the tape only one string of nails had been broken. I have no idea if any were missing and since there is supposed to be 6ooo nails in this box I think I can deal with a few strings missing. This is probably the last box of this size nails I will need for the rest of my woodworking life. This is a lot of nails. The nails themself have performed well so far. No jams in my Freeman pneumatic nail gun. I did have a few shoot out of the side when putting together my drawers, but that is usually due to the wood and grain pattern. I also used them to make a quick alignment jig and they held without glue and I had to really pry them up to dismantle the jig later. I always use a little wood glue when I make drawers and then shoot a few nails into the ends to work as clamps while the glue dries. I recently ordered a dove tail jig so that I can make nicer looking drawers, so I will probably make a new box to hold all these nails as my 1st test project. The nails worked well, and the price is good, so I will probably order another box in other sizes and hope that the plastic box does not get beat-up again. For the price I would say this is a good source for nails for your pneumatic nail guns....

It’s kinda hard to review a brad nail, but I can say that there have been no cons yet just pros such as they seem very strong when they’re in there so much so that I can shoot two of them into another piece of wood and then with my hand, try to break them free from each other but I can tell that it’s going to take a good amount of force to be able to bend or move them from where I had placed them and shot them at. Very easy to load, of course they do stay together to where you don’t have to put five or six pieces together to make a run. I have nothing negative to say about them they are working as they should.End result: sure I would recommend these to anyone that has a brand new gun that is 18 gauge. It’s a good value for the money and they seem to work just as good as anything else I’ve ever had in this gun. It’s a good product.
