I got this skeleton as a reference for figure drawing and artistic anatomy classes. I'm an artist and not in the medical field. It is a nice small reference to have, however, there are some obvious issues that I will enumerate below.First, the quality of the material is good. It came packaged very well and it is nice to have a small poster showing the anterior and posterior views. Some assembly was required; the main metal stand plugs into the middle of the skeleton (vertical plan) and then attached to the included plastic base. That was easy. However, the two legs (femur + Tibia&Fibula + dorsals (feet): left and right, need to be attached to the pelvis through the great trochanter. This was a bit tricky and took about 10 minutes. The reason is that the attachment has to be done through a tiny nut with very little room to work. The arms & legs, with their joints, seems to move and rotate nicely. Like most skeletons, the scapulas are attached to the back of the rib cage, so they don't move with the arms movements. That's fine. The issues that I noticed are as follows:- The proportions seems to be a bit over 8 heads high for the entire skeleton.- The spin is flat, as a 90 degree vertical. No curvature for the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions.Only a sacral curve.- The patella is attached to Femur instead of the Tibia. So, in summary, overall this is a well-made skeleton that can be used as a quick reference that can be placed on a desktop or a shelf without taking much space. However, it is not a 100% anatomical correct.

I got this skeleton model to decorate my desk at work. I have collected a few nerdy objects and this one will add to it. I'm hoping to make it pose like it's climbing the life size spine model I have on my desk. This model is ok. It's not perfect. most major joints move. Small joints do not. the jaw opens and can dislocate, which is nice (for a skeleton model). I like it and look forward to the fun of having it. For an anatomy model it's ok, but I would like to see some more detail than this has.My one gripe is the title of the listing. It says "mini human life size skeleton" I don't like that they use the term life size skeleton when it's a mini human skeleton. It's 17 inches,.

This skeleton is good for teaching children about the skeletal system but is lacks a lot of details and the skull is grossy elongated and is not proportionate to the rest of the skeleton. This skeleton is a good decoration and for instructing children but it lacks many details that a serious student needs to be able to identify.

Described as a “17.7'' Mini Human Life Size Skeleton” and stand, it is, in fact, a 17.7” miniature human skeleton, but is, of course, not life-size. I think what was meant was “accurate” or “true-to-life”. The skeleton is poseable, with moving limbs and jaw, and a removable brain case (Ooo… secret storage). The accompanying chart with the list of bones is awesome and useful, with text in both English and Chinese. It can be enjoyed by children or adults, in classrooms, for Halloween, and in any situation in which you suddenly realize, “Gee, I really need a miniature skeleton for this!”

I'm amused at the description of "LIFE-SIZED...mini" skeleton. So, obviously this is not life-sized. It is bigger than I anticipated, though. Easy to assemble. There are seams along a lot of the bones. It came with a cool poster labelling all of the bones in the body.
