I'm using these on the front and back of my truck primary for a winch quick connect. I also have some jumper cables with the 175A andersen, so it will serve a lot of purposes for me. So far, its great. I do wonder how long the little dust cover will last - it's not cheap plastic but it definitely isn't built for years on sunlight and abuse on a truck.

I know this is not a real Anderson Powerpole but it fit and mated with my genuine APP plug. Seems to perform just fine

I rescue people on the trail fairly often and when I want to plug in my portable compressor or give someone a jump start this allows me access to high-amp power without having to pop my hood. It's a little thing, but especially after a trail run when I air up I find people are so friendly that if I have my hood popped on the side of the road to access my battery for my compressor to air up my tires friendly folks will stop and ask if I need help. This keeps me from wasting their time.

I thought this was a female Anderson plug that was sized for solar panels, but it turns out it is about 4 times bigger than that "finger-sized" connector. It's my fault for not looking closer at the listed dimensions. Thankfully, I was able to return it free of charge.
