HOW TO USE THE GRILL GRATES ONCE YOU GOT IT
- It's recommended that you preheat new grates made with matte enamel cast iron before using them for the first time. This will remove any processing residue.Y
- ou should oil your grates before or after each use for best cooking results.
- Dip a bunched up paper towel into a high-heat cooking oil (such as Canola oil, olive oil or peanut oil). Be careful not to saturate the paper towel. You want enough oil on it to coat the grill grate, but you don't want it dripping everywhere.
- Using an oven mitt and tongs, carefully wipe the paper down on the grill grate.
HEAVY DUTY AND MORE DURABLE THAN OTHERS
- When your grill is cold
- You can also apply the same high-heat cooking oil (Canola, olive, peanut) when the grates are cold. Cover the grates with the oil and remove the excess with a paper towel.
- Light your grill and let it burn until the oil on the grates starts smoking or burns off.
REVERSIBLE GRATE
- Two-sided cast iron, Create two different grill marks on your food.
- Cast-iron grates covered with enamel to prevent them from rusting. Using non-metallic grill tools on this type of barbecue grate will also add life to the grate.
HOW TO CLEANING YOUR GRILL GRATES
- Before you oil your grill grates, it's important to brush off any burned food particles that might be left from the last time you barbecued.
- The easiest way to do this is with a premium nylon grill brush. It allows you to clean off your grates without turning the grill on.Simply scrub the grates until all burned food is removed.
- Once you're done, you're ready to move on to oiling the grates.

These replacement grill grates fit my Charbroil perfectly. They’re sturdy, heat evenly, and easy to clean. Food cooks beautifully without sticking. A great upgrade for any grill. Highly recommend for BBQ lovers!

The grates were perfectly described, solid and very sturdy, fit to perfection, and speedy shipment. Should I need to replace these again, I will definitely come back to this vendor. A+ rating, in my opinion.

What a great addition to the grill. My old grates were breaking apart and looking horrible so I wanted to upgrade and after extensive research I purchased these grates and they did not disappoint. They are heavy duty and built with quality and I make sure to season them each time before we use it. When I am ready to use the grill I will turn it on and while I’m getting it preheated I clean the grates a little with a nylon brush and take a paper towel with coconut oil and rub it on the grates. Then finish preheating and cook the food. I’m sure you can use different cooking oils as well. Overall definitely recommend and just take care of it and it will last a long time. I bought this October 2023 and in September 2024 they still look great and work exceptionally well.

Note, these look like a really nice high quality cast iron grate. However specific to Nexgrill 720-0882A, despite the listing saying that they fit, they DO NOT. They are two narrow, so large gaps exist on either side, if you can get them to sit at all. That particular grill has a very specific grate configuration that is 2 wider grates and 1 narrower one. They are built specifically to fit into the “Infrared screen” that sits between the grates and the burners. These are just generic rectangular cast iron grates that are all the same size. They will not fit that particular Nexgrill unless you entirely dismantle the entire grill. It is a shame because these looked really nice and I wanted them to work.

I got these to replace my old dirty ones and they are definitely sturdy and fit my grill. However after much scrubbing and scrubbing I was able to get my old grates looking pretty good and decided to return these.
