The paperclip necklaces are very lightweight. They are marked SSTEEL. The clasps are very easy to work. They are comfortable to wear and look great, but they feel a little cheap to the touch. Based on the price, less than $1 per chain, they are a great deal for stainless steel.

These gold-plated paperclip necklaces are perfect for DIY jewelry projects. They have a nice shine and are lightweight yet sturdy enough for charm additions. The length works well for most designs, though a few chains had slight variations in the clasp quality. Great value for the quantity you get!

When I read the review I was happy that the chain is described as 4mm. I thought that would mean that each link is 4 mm long making a delicate looking necklace. However, the 4 mm is the width of each link and the length of the loop is about 10mm long. At first I was disappointed because I was looking for a delicate looking chain. But once I put one of these on I was delighted with the sizes. All but the most tiny charms would look good with this chain. Since it is stainless steel inside it will be strong enough to handle most heavier pendants which is a good thing. The stainless steel is nice and shinny and will go with silver or most metals. The gold chains are a tiny bit less attractive and while they have 18 carot gold plating the gold just doesn't look a solid gold or gold filled necklace. But what can you expect at this low price point. I don't know how long the plating will last, but as it, it is still pretty. All in all I am very happy with this set of chains but I am knocking off a star because I believe the description of the chain was a bit misleading by failing to provide the link length.

The chains have a nice look and feel so without being bulky. I’ve been able to work these with lobster clips and standard rings without issue. The clasps on the actual chains hold well even when loaded with charms. Great on their own too

I like the matching set necklace and bracelet. The sizes are what is described in the description area: 20 inch necklace and 6.5 inch bracelets.They do look and feel like they are the 18K gold plated stainless steel. They are light weight and feel delicate.I recommend them for the good quality and gentle feel.
