As the listing says, this is only the conduit cover for an LED light strip. Most of these covers have a removable top diffuser but as described, this is a solid piece. It does diffuse the light well and gave even light, better than others with the dual layer for light to pass through. I tried is with a high led count strip. It was either 500 or 800 leds per meter. It was a short piece I had laying around and don't remember exact details. The quality of the product is good and it should hold up to most uses. I tried tearing it and it holds up to some abuse. I got it to test as an option for led strip lighting under stair tread lips. It seems like it will hold up for it If I go this route. It is very flexible and would work well with curves and other architectural features requiring bends as stated. The top is dark color. It looks nice and hides well but as expected, it does dull the light intensity a lot with the two layers to go through so keep that in mind. It did alter the color some also. The strip I tested it with was RGBW and I had to adjust the color to get it how I wanted with and without this product. Yellow seemed more amber in my opinion but it might have just been my eyes playing tricks on me. Wanted to mention this because it might be an issue if you are buying a single color strip and you are picky about the color like me. This is a good value for what it is but you might have to spend more on the light controller and strip setup if you are picky about the color and intensity.

I have several varieties of LED channel that use the really cheap plastic covers, and these things are almost never cut to exact lengths of the channel causing overlap, seaming issues, etc. I got this continuous cover to make things look more uniform and finished.Pros: The materials quality is good. The Silicone is nice, flexible, and uniform. The sides are well textured for contact, and the thickness is good. So, in the right circumstance this would be very functional.Cons: This strip was not wide enough to fit in any variety of channel I have. This includes the mud-in style and the surface mount 10mm channel. It just fell right out without an adhesive. So, I would rate the ease of installation poor. The grey coating on the outside is way too dark for anything besides the most dense/brightest of LEDs. I'd say it cuts lumens by half. So, this should be understood as a specialty product for cutting down brightness, and I would recommend channel with a 9mm fit.
