I have been using this set (I received the orange wheels) to remove rust and paint from my wifes yard accoutrements like her little windmills and metal signs that have seen better days. Rather than throwing them away we are working at restoring the ones we can, changing them a bit and returning them to the yard. The wheels work great, stripping off all the grime, rust and paint where sanding wasn't doing the job allowing us to sand smooth and refinish. I liked that the pads removed everything down to bare metal with a minimum of effort and whether I was using a die or air grinder or just my drill, these did a fantastic job although I will say using the drill took a bit longer than the other options.As for the quick change, it is a nice feature but seems to be about the same amount of time but I like that I can change the pad without having to undo the chuck. Once the chuck is secure, I dislike messing with them and this allows for that.These are one of the things I like to always have around the shop. You may not need them often but when you do, they are indispensable. For the price you will pay for this setup you receive a solid product that is going to do the job and last you awhile.

These grind pads work well for small jobs. Each pad threads into the holder to ensure the pad is secure and centered.The shaft is 1/4" in diameter which attaches to a regular drill chuck either on a drill or pneumatic tool. There is no documentation included but the pads are standard so probably not needed.No issues slowly removing surface rust off a piece of flat iron, will leave tool marks on the surface. It took about a minute to remove the rust from a 1" wide 3" long piece of mild steel.The holder base may be a proprietary thread so replacement pads may be hard to find.Always wear eye and lung protection (especially when stripping paint).Overall good for small jobs, works well on broad, flat surfaces

Can't beat these for the price, they attached to a regular 1/2 in drill. Of course there are many uses for these, I'm using the mostly to clean up drum set hardware, ie, Cymbal stands, from rims and lugs etc. Quality pads and drill adapter. Great for the price.

I have lots of mesh silicon carbide wheels in various colors and diameters. Some are domestic and some are imports. Some can only be used with my hand-held grinder and others can be chucked in my hand drill or drill press. I'll probably be accused of tool heresy but quite frankly, I cannot tell the difference between any of these products when it comes to removing rust or scale. To my eye, they all yield pretty much the same results. No brand has lasted significantly longer than another when performing the same task. These, like the other brands, are effective and will save you lots of time and effort bringing metal surfaces down to the bare metal. I think it all comes down to how much you are willing to pay for a product and whether you think a brand name buys you better results.This product claims quick change. I don't think changing the disk without having to open the chuck and removing a mounted wheel amounts to real time saving. I will give them that not having to provide 15 additional wheel shanks may either make the product more affordable or more profitable. Without that many additional shanks, the wheels are easier to store but not by a lot.

This is a review for the 16 PCS Quick Change Easy Strip Wheel Set, 3 Inch Strip Discs with 1/4" Disc Pad Holder for Die Grinder Surface Strip Grind Polish Paint Rust and Oxidation Cleaning Removal,BlackI got the black ones instead of the orange ones. I don't know if there is any difference but so far these have worked really well. I use them to clean rust and paint off metal parts and they do a great job. I use them in my electric drill and also my air grinder. These disks are always handy to have around the workshop and this brand has held up well.

This 16 PCS Quick Change Easy Strip Wheel Set, 3 Inch Strip Discs with 1/4" Disc Pad Holder for Die Grinder Surface Strip Grind Polish Paint Rust and Oxidation Cleaning Removal, Orange is nice.This is a nice surface striping wheel set. This works great for removing rust and stuff off of rotors. On anything that is rusty or dirty parts that need to be cleaned off to keep it flat and in good standings. This works great. I use these all the time.
