These mugs are so light that it's difficult to believe they're glass. I'm not going to test that theory (who wants glass shards all over their kitchen) but the long and short of it is they're very light and easy to carry, even full of coffee, and they look good.

The mugs are packaged so well within their box, there is a sturdy layer of polystyrene above and below the mugs to keep them safe during delivery. The mugs themselves are very light but do crack easily so take care when handling them and washing. They keep the drink warm for longer whilst the handle stays cool! Pricey and very fragile, but if you're careful then these are great!

Look through these reviews, and you'll see lots of people with the same observations. People love these mugs because their size is great (they hold more coffee than a regular coffee mug, and fit under the porta-filter of my espresso machine. Not easy to find mugs that allow me to make a bigger cup of Americano or latte), they're well designed, and they work as advertised- the ultra hot coffee stays cool to the touch.But, you'll see lots of other reviews complaining that they're very fragile, and unfortunately that's also true. You have to be careful with these mugs because they shatter easily. $25 for a pair isn't a crippling price, but also isn't cheap for coffee mugs.Because these are the only ones that I use for those bigger cups of espresso, I use them every day, and have broken a lot - about 5.But, I continue to re-order them for $25 a pair, so obviously I really like them. They're good mugs, just don't expect them to be as solid as regular coffee mugs.

Easily handwashed, but can go in the dishwasher from time to time. Nice size for morning coffee or hot chocolate. Keeps my coffee warmer longer than the old mug.

La he comprado 4 veces. Me encanta como se ve el café "flotando". Gracias a su doble capa, la puedes sostener sin quemarte y al ser totalmente transparente le da un toque muy visual a las bebidas. Muy recomendable!

UPDATE below..... I love these. They are the perfect size if you like to add whip or foam to your hot or cold drink. They are lightweight and I wash in the top rack dishwasher without issue. With reasonable care, these should last a while. The double wall aspect means it keeps liquids hot or cold a tiny bit longer, but remember the big open top means heat is escaping quickly. The double wall means it is comfortable to hold the non-handled area around the cup without burning fingers.UPDATE: 1/24/23 I purchased a second set of 2 of these. I whacked on cup super hard on my stainless sink and cracked one - thus this replacement order. I love these mugs and that they are clear. Double walled blown glass means they are not super tough, but honestly if you treat them with reasonable care, they DO last and are dishwasher safe! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I do not accept any discounts or deals that are not available to all shoppers. And my reviews are based purely on my personal experience with each item I review.

I am tired of drinking cold coffee and tea when I want them to be hot. The mugs do keep the beverages warm a little longer than regular mugs, but not as long as I'd like, which would require a thermos type mug probably. But I like drinking from glass and don't like drinking from metal or plastic.The mugs hold 16 oz and fit well under my keurig coffeemaker. I have used them about two weeks now and have put them in the dishwasher with no harm done. They are much lighter than I expected, since I am used to drinking from ceramic mugs, and I wonder how well they will hold up compared to my other mugs. To clarify, they are also lighter than the glass tumblers I use for drinking cold beverages. So I wonder if they are as fragile as they feel.They are comfortable to hold and to drink from.edited to change rating to 5 stars from 4 stars. This is now my favorite cup. It has proved sturdy enough to hold up well in the dishwasher, and it does keep my beverages warmer than other cups.edited again to add: I still love the cups. I am experiencing water between the glass layers in one of the cups. I am sure the water got in there from the pinpoint hole in the bottom of the cup, although as yet only one of the cups have the water. The water appears clean, and when I fill the cup with coffee the water in the middle drains out through the little hole. leaving just a bit of water inside, so I have to hold a paper towel under the cup if I don't want liquid dripping onto the floor. I sent an email through Amazon to the company asking for clarification on the water problem and never heard back, not good PR.

I love these - they're sturdier than most of this type and a tad heavier as well. Al around a really solid cup with great thermal properties. I bought 2 so we could have an extra on hand for a guest. I use a smaller cup since I'm not supposed to drink as much milk in my coffee and they are not quite the quality I found in these. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. I just bought a second set of 2 for our RV. These are the sturdiest cups and they really do keep your hot beverages warmer than others available here and though they're lightweight, feel very substantial. I'd definitely recommend these to a friend and even buy more if the need arose. These are my new go to cups. I got one more set today as I shattered one this AM due to getting grease on the cup. It slipped from my hand and slipped from my hand to the hard tile floor. They offered me a discount but the page wasn't working but I'd buy these with or without the %10 off they offered. The shape, quality and the larger size are the deciding factors for me. Knowing they rarely break, I thought about getting only 1 but decided to be proactive and get the extra cup regardless. I love these cups, not only for their obvious quality, thermal properties and beauty but also because they're incredibly lightweight and with a destroyed rotator cuff, they make it possible for me to have a full cup of coffee and carry another for my husband simultaneously. Another plus is you can see the great coffee creations my new Jura coffee machine makes. I tried another brand that was smaller and not nearly as sturdy initially but got this one for my husband and liked it so well I ordered more for myself. They're packed so well I saved the box for the RV to protect them while we travel. These are the best cups out there in my opinion, so if you want lightweight, thermal properties that are sturdier than you might expect, these are well worth the price and they really hold the 16 ounces they advertise. These are my 3rd set and it took a fall from 4 feet on a stone floor to break one. I've bumped them on tile, other glasses and granite many times and it never even cracked one.
