I bought two of these for use in a shore jacks to use as adjustment levers and they worked great for that. I have not used these for welding or any other application.

Using this to get a longer handle on my harbor freight 1 ton arbor. This is 16 mm which is slightly larger than 5/8 inch. Which is exactly what I needed for the arbor press. Giving me that extra length to add extra ummp to the arbor press

close... but if 5/8 actually matters it wont work - its diameter is indeed oversized. its a few tho over.
