My cutter is over 10 years old, so perhaps because of it I didn't find major difference between original holder and this one. Another reviewer had shell diameter of .45 on original holder and .472 on new holder. My original holder is .472 as well. And I didn't have to move retaining ring all the way out. I have good 2mm space to work with. Blades that came with order are made in China but they work fine, not sure how durable they will be. Minor confusion with color caps. 30 deg blades had blue and 60 deg had yellow. Switched them around to avoid mix up in a future
