Pretty solid piece of wood. Stained and sealed. Just waiting to make my table with it. Almost perfect dimensions for what I needed it for. Cuts easily and with no splintering/breakage.Only minimal defects/chips on the edges and surface. No big deal to me but if you’re looking for perfection know that your piece might come with some imperfections.Not too heavy, but has a solid weight to it. The 1.5” thickness should accept the hardware we’re going to use on it just fine but I’ll update this review as needed if we have any issues.

This is the third butcher block top that I’ve purchased from this company. They does not disappoint. I use them to make desks. A simple coat of tung oil is all it needs!The photo shown is the slightly larger size block but all three are beautiful. Also, the wood is VERY consistent in look, before and after tung oil coating.If you are on the fence about buying from this company, DO IT!!!!!
