I bought these to replace the OEM wellnuts that hold a windshield to an old Yamaha sportbike. The specs that were hard to locate were a flange diameter of 0.75" and that flange should be comparatively thick. Kits found in motorcycle shops have small wellnuts - I'm guessing they are fine for modern bikes. However their flanges are too small and too weak to keep from collapsing into the holes in my fairing or pulling out instead of gripping the hole. These wellnuts are made of harder compound, have longer columns and thicker cross sections.Some installation points: These purchased wellnuts won't tighten up to my bike's fairing without first starting to spin with the bolt instead of drawing up the nut to squash the rubber, so I couldn't mount them securely one by one without the windshield in place. Instead, inserting all the necessary wellnuts and then over laying the windshield and pressing down close to the wellnut was enough to keep them from spinning and they tightened up nicely. They are very affordable compared to OEM versions
