Nice case at a good price. I needed a single case with storage capacity for four AKG C3000 mics as I was tired of dealing with the separate awkward original storage boxes in which the mics were shipped. Four layers of foam: One egg crate style attached in the top lid, two removable sheets with pluck-n-pull foam, and one solid sheet attached to the bottom tray. The little individual foam squares on the pluck-n-pull sheets are 1.5cm or just shy of 5/8” square. I liked the two removable sheets so that I could custom fit the thicker and thinner parts of the microphones into the foam bed. Handle and latches feel solid and the case looks sharp. Comes with two keys. Super functional. Well done. I plan to purchase more of these for other microphones and smaller equipment. Way cheaper and lighter than Pelican cases! Does not appear to be waterproof as there is no rubber gasket around the inside case edge, but I don’t generally swim with my equipment.

The 17 inch case fits my Yamaha MG10XU mixer and it's power supply. The case itself is not built tough for the road. It's good for keeping dust off and provide some protection. Fair enough for the price.The padding is easy to work with. I got about 1 inch of padding around the mixer.

Case is nice for what I need it forDoesn't feel like the most sturdy. Has a hard, but hollow plastic feel. I think it will still keep what I need protected.The foam is in there tight and not the easiest to separate. You also can't have one row of thin padding unless you're an expert and have time to meticulously separate the foam.Still overall happy. Just want future buyers to know what to expect

This is a great case for holding your assortment of microphones. The 1 half inch pre cut foam square are easy to arrange different types of microphones.

I'm actually going to use this to transport a custom made Bowie knife from an expo to my house, because I don't trust shipping companies anymore. Very sturdy, and light weight, pick and pull foam, exactly what I was looking for.
