I wish I had kept the box to return it, but I was careless. So I have a weed trimmer. It doesn't do edging at all. Totally false advertising. I'm sure DeWalt will be happy because I'll now have to buy an edger. After that, never again with that brand. Update: thanks to no instructions and unable to find any online I did finally find what it took to make into an edger. NOT at all easy to rotate. I had to straddle the edger to get leverage to turn. Sticking with my 3 rating.

After figuring out the instructions, tried it out with the Dewalt battery that had a full charge. Weed whacker kept turning off so I tried a different Dewalt battery and it did the same thing. So, I used the battery that came with it and it worked fine. So after contacting Amazon I was given the choice of buying another battery which would cost the same as getting a Dewalt weed wacker to began with. So, now I can go with either sending it back or buying another battery. Seller needs to be truthful about their products. Probably will send it back

Before unboxing the 15" Cordless Weed Wacker & Edger for Dewalt 20V Battery, 4.0Ah Battery Powered Weed Eater, I had read as many reviews, and watched as many videos as I could find. The reviews were good overall, but indicated that the product was very difficult to assemble out of the box, and that the included battery was not dependable at all. I have not found this to be the case at all. Upon unboxing the product, I had it all put together and ready to use in less than 10 minutes without consulting the manual for assembly instructions. The battery was charged to full in about 20 minutes. For some reason, my product included a 5Ah battery instead of the 4Ah that is advertised (BONUS). Upon charging the battery, I started testing the product on a patch of high grass and weeds at the edge of my back yard. I usually use a large Stihl 2-cycle trimmer for this job, but I wanted to see what this battery powered trimmer could do. To my pleasant surprise, the tall grass and weeds were no match for this brushless machine. I trimmed a patch approximately 50 feet wide by 15 feet deep composed of greenbriers, saw grass, and various other fast growing ground cover (2-3 feet high) to ground level in about 30 minutes. I was pretty amazed how well this trimmer works, and it is less than half the weight of my gasoline trimmer. The reduced noise eliminates the need for hearing protection. The included ORBLON 5Ah battery performed as well as or better than any of my DEWALT brand batteries. The product is well built and easy to use, I think it has just become my new favorite trimmer. I really don't know how I ever did without it. Thanks Amazon, and thanks ORBLON. Keep up the good work!!

this weed wacker works great, besides being battery operated it cuts trough the grass with ease, the battery last for quite a while and thats is really important so you have enough time to finish your projects.I love the feature of being able to cut sideways it saves so much time. It comes in a well put package and instructions are clear enough to being able to use it in minutes.

This is a good replacement to our old one. The battery life is good, strong and powerful that makes the yard work easy! Good value for the money! Very easy to use and its lightweight compared to gas ones.

It works, read carefully it does take dewalt batterys but is isnt a dewalt not the quality you would expect from a Dewalt seen it isnt one

Like the two wheels on it was really easy to hold and cut the weeds. They want battery does work.
