Bought right after Christmas last year for my mom when her old press broke after 20 years. I thought I was buying an oxo like mine. It looks very much the same, but functions terribly come to find out. Haven't had a chance to use it until this Christmas so too late to learn it isn't good and return it. Doesn't catch on the ratchet. Now I need to buy another unit, making sure it's an oxo next time.

I went through 3 cookie cutters this year on a recipe I've done for years--back to the time of the old hand screw type!! I finally landed on a brand I know for quality kitchenware and presto! The cookies popped out one at a time like they should. No incomplete or over sized ones. What a pleaseure. The process went so much faster than before! Love it and the disk storage box!

We had great difficulty getting the dough to come out on the cookie sheet. Finally just started pressing the shape on the granite counter and transferring to cookie sheet.

I was so excited to receive this, but it was a huge disappointment. I have never had to work so hard in my life to get maybe 10 cookies that looked nice. I followed all the instructions. I even did some extra things the previous reviewers suggested - no luck. It wouldn’t catch to press and most of the cookies were just mangled.
