I needed a reservoir pressure test adapter for my 09 Jetta to hopefully track down a pesky coolant leak. Needless to say this wasn’t my first option in my search, but I’m sure glad I came across it. Why? The service manual recommends the VW part, which is just the adapter, for $80. This kit solved that issue with numerous different sized adapters and even the air pump. So not only did I save $30, but I can also help someone else pressure test their system since I have several different adapters now. This is a great kit for the money and a kit you don’t have to worry about sacrificing quality for. I’d recommend it to anybody caught in the same predicament or just needing a good kit.

I tried every cap, and none fit the expansion tank on a 2002 BMW 330i E46, M54B30 engine. The BMW expansion part number is 17117573781. This expansion tank is used a many BMW models. And the cooling system is a major weakness of many BMWs, so I'm surprised this kit didn't fit. I went to my local auto parts shop and did the free rental trick, and their pressure tester worked flawlessly.

Nice product. I like the metal fittings. Most competitors adapters were plastic. Been a mechanic shop owners for 51 years total. I would this as a tool in my shop for my 5 techs.

Quickly solved the 3.7L Jeep coolant leaking out of the hose clamps. I pumped it to 18psi past the cap 16psi to notice the leaks. Tightened one clamp and added new clamp to reinforce a weak spring clamp. Perfect tool to make this take ten minutes to cure a coolant leak on a 3.7L engine. Good assortment of adapters for the price. Fits 2006 Ford Expedition. 86 toyota corolla

Had a mystery leak on my 4Runner. Never saw any drips when running at operating temp. Hooked this up and immediately saw coolant spewing out a heater hose on the engine. It would spray on the hot exhaust crossover, so there was no drip.Hooked it up to my Land Cruiser right after. Mystery leak that I could not see when the truck was idling. Hooked it up and immediately found a loose hose. I was about to order a $230 radiator too! It’s always the simple things, but you need the right tools to find them too.
