This thing made removing the cylinder 8 plug on my 08 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 so easy. I always have an issue getting to this plug but not when I used this socket. I should have gotten one of these years ago.

I read that normal spark plug sockets don't fit into the Audi's spark plug holes because the diameter are larger than the holes. So I opted for this which has a magnet which definitely helps extracting the spark plug from the deep hole.Seems to be of good quality and the universal joint is a nice touch. Also it's one piece so you can't lose the socket in the deep hole like traditional spark plug sockets on a 3/8 extension. Well worth the investment if you like to do your own car maintenance.

Finish is a little marginal, but gave it a little oil to free up the universal portion, and it worked like a charm getting a tricky K*M 890 plug out. Very helpful for plugs where you can't easily get direct access from the top of the plug, and have to come in from an angle. Would have been a much bigger challenge without this tool. 14mm size was on-spec, works great for non-professional use.
