I used to use double nuts to drive in hanger bolts. This is an infinitely better solution. Great drivers!

If you have need to sink doubled-headed screws, or to drive threaded rod, this part does the job well. Come with a good variety of sizes, and the bits are well manufactured. Blued steel finish prevents rust or corrosion.

The devices them self work great. You can drive a hangar bolt and it does fine.Problem is when you try to reverse your drill/driver, the bolt will probably try to come out with it. So if you can spare a thread or two what would be OK being a little goobered-up, then you can but a small pair of pliers on it to keep it in place while you slowly back it out.Just be aware that you may need to figure out a way to not back these out when removing.

I like the hex end that locks into my impact driver. Having the 3 sizes in the package means I am ready for most US type hanger bolts. The threads are deep enough to hold the bolt solidly for insertion.

I bought this set to screw in 1/4 x 2" dowel screws aka double-ended screws. 1/4 screws do not fit and if you try to force it, they will not screw straight. Not even worth returning because I don't want to waste my time going to a FedEx or UPS Drop-off location. Would give zero stars if it was an option. I just threw them into the tool box and maybe they may be useful for something down the line. Not recommended.
