I was overall impressed with the quality of this item. It came with everything needed for installation, including crimp connectors, which was a nice touch. The brightness is just right for both the white and amber lights, providing great visibility without being overpowering. The build quality feels solid, and the included stainless steel hardware ensures there’s no worry about rust or corrosion over time.So far, I’m very pleased with this purchase. If any issues arise, I’ll update my review, but based on the construction, I don’t anticipate any problems.

This can be used to add or replace an exterior light on your camper or RV. It has a sturdy aluminum housing that is nicely finished and is easy to install. Just use a good grade of silicon caulk or other sealant around the base and screw it to the exterior wall of the camper where the supply wires pass through. It takes four supplied screws in a 1 3/16" tall by 4 3/8" wide pattern. Make sure there is wood or something else study for the screws to screw into. Attach the wires with the supplied wire nuts and then attach the light to its base with the two supplied screws. There's also a allen wrench provided for the hex headed screws. Seal around the unit with a good sealant to waterproof everything. One thing to note, it has no on/off switch, so it needs to be installed on a circuit with a switch.

Very pleased with the quality, Light output is miles ahead of my old single builb light. very easy to replace my old outside light on the travel trailer. Installation is very easy, just need to mount the plate and install the fixture. Recommend put enough RV caulk around the seams to prevent any water/moisture that could cause damage. Highly recommend this!!!!

This puts out lot of light in an even flood. When first turned on the light will be white. If you turn off the light switch and then back on again within 2 seconds or so, it comes back on with amber light (useful for not attracting bugs so much). The quality of this light fixture is readily apparent as soon as you open the box. It looks to be white powder coat over smooth cast aluminum. It's solid and fits together well. All mounting hardware is included. The first picture is the back of the mounting plate with its 4 rubber sealing washers. The washers seal the screw holes used to mount the back plate to the RV wall. The instructions say to use caulk* around the edges of this back plate when mounting it with the included screws.*Caulk will seal it well, though I prefer butyl rubber caulk/sealant tape - useful for all manner of other sealing chores and what you don't use lasts near forever - unlike an opened tube of caulk. Search Amazon: Butyl Tape White 1/2" x 30' x 1/8" RV Tape Sealant Waterproof. This is a whole lot better than the incandescent light fixture that came on my motor home!

This porch light fits well on my self-built RV although the light is a little bright when camping in complete darkness. But it fits the bill to allow cooking or socializing after dark. You will need to know how to wire it in or hire someone else to do it. And add a switch by the door as it does not come with a switch. But this works well. It also blends in well and doesn't stick out too far. I advise adding sealant around the outside but no leaks so far.

Great porch RV light or anywhere you need a bright 12v light source. The housing is extremely durable, aluminum with a nice black finish. This will stand up to the elements much better than the old plastic broken one. Especially with water resistance. Great value for the money! The light has two colors, to switch between white and amber, just simply turn it off and back on. I do wish there was a switch to select which one because the white is bright as heck! Comes with everything you need to install it.But either way, a simple design and nice to have both on the fly instead of having to switch a lens cover etc.A+!

This 12v light is a pretty solid unit! The chassis is die-cast aluminum and is pounder coated. The fit and finish is of very high quality. The plastic cover/lens seems to be pretty thick and should hold up for many years. The actual electronics seem to be potted or epoxied in place and I have confidence that water ingress won't be an issue! I really love the fact that it has two colors, the white default setting is around 6000K is very bright and works well for general illumination. The more amber setting is triggered by flipping the switch off for a second, then back on. This is better for leaving on for extended periods at night as it attracts fewer insects. I remember those old incandescent amber "bug" lamps from years past, well this is the best of both worlds. The lamp gets slightly warm to the touch with extended use, but it does not seem to get overly hot or anything, definitely not warm enough where I'd think its lifespan would be affected. Overall, this lamp is an awesome addition to any off-grid cabin/camper/rv/work trailer/etc!

Very happy with this replacement light. The size is nearly the same as the original one it replaced. It works with the same wiring and switch. I did have to drill new holes for the screws as they did not match but that only took a minute or two.The light offers two modes, an "cool" white and "warm" amber. When you toggle power on, it will default to the white, switch it off and back on and it will change to the amber. Simple. The light output is about the same as the bulb style light it replaced. The glow is a lot more consistent with this LED. The old light was a clear orange cover and was very old and dull. The light also looks a lot cleaner and nicer than want was originally on the RV.
