These are not 14 oz they are 8 oz and the flat surface is not 6.24” it is 5” and the height is not 1.5” it is 1 3/8”. The size is small for an individual portion dinner.

Love these au gratin dishes. I use them for all kinds of food. They are delicate vs thick.

These dishes worked perfect for my seafood casserole. They're delicate yet sturdy. I can see they would work perfectly for desserts or small sidesalads as well. Excellent purchase.

I love these little dishes. Unfortunately, first order arrived broken. Poorly packaged for shipping. Even though I like them, I gave it 4 stars due to the inaccurate description. They are easily 8 oz.; maybe 10 if you are not dishing up a liquid soup or something. But they are in no way 14 oz. Still a very pretty dish. I ordered again hoping they all come in 1 piece this time.

These little beauties are exactly the right size for individual servings and look terrific on the plate. They exceed my expectations and arrived much earlier than was promised. An inspiring product if you enjoy cooking au gratin.
