Very nice rope. I purchased this rope to replace my wire cable, and found out my wench has the hole, not the bolt to fasten it. The rope was very hard to feed through the hole in the winch spool. So, I used shrink tubing and then burned through it and the rope with a very hot utility knife and then dressed the burned end with a grinder. After all that, I discovered that my old winch was no good anymore. The 12v electric motor was just plain gone. I took it apart and it had destroyed itself last year when I used it. Today I ordered a new winch here on Amazom, yay! 4500lb winch for $134.90 complete with synthetic rope, wench mount, fairlead, wireless remote, the whole nine yards! So I will hold on to this wench rope for future use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09N8G32RX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I recently used the this rope for a more unconventional purpose. I needed to secure our trash up in the trees during a camping trip. It worked great! The rope’s strength and durability are impressive, with a 10,000 lbs capacity that provided more than enough support. One of the best aspects is its synthetic construction, which makes it lightweight and easy to handle compared to traditional steel cables. Despite being lightweight, it proved incredibly tough and didn’t show any signs of wear or fraying after several uses. The bright color also made it easy to spot, reducing the risk of accidentally leaving it behind. However, while it's excellent for various tasks, it’s important to note that synthetic ropes can be more susceptible to abrasion than steel, so keeping it away from sharp edges is advisable. This wasn't a problem really with a tree, but while the rope performed excellently for my needs, those looking to use it with an ATV or for winching should ensure it’s properly maintained to prevent any potential weakening over time.Overall, the rope is a versatile and strong option for a range of applications, from winching to creative uses like securing trash in trees. Its lightweight nature and high strength make it a valuable tool to have on hand.

This material is much better than the typical plastic type rope. Very sturdy and strong considering it's only 1/4'' thick.

Arrived on time. The price was much cheaper then buying Dyneema from a boat supplies store. I have not used it long enough to comment on durability

Bought this to make rope attachments for climbing sticks that I would use deer hunting; hence, I need them to not have an odor. When it arrived, it had a strong chemical odor. I washed the roll in no-scent soap which did not remove the scent. Then I soaked it for 48 hours in baking soda, borax detergent & water. This greatly reduced the odor. Then I left it outside for about a week where it was rained on a couple of times & dried in the Sun. This removed the odor where a human could not smell it. I then made several "rope mod" climbing stick attachments and they are working great. I did not expect the odor issue!

The WROUGH 3/16 in x 50 ft synthetic winch rope is a high-quality and reliable option for off-roading and towing needs. With an 8,350 lb break strength, it handles heavy-duty tasks with ease. The protective sleeve and thimble add extra durability and protection against wear. Perfect for ATVs, UTVs, boats, trailers, and more. I'm impressed with the strength and performance, and I look forward to exploring more products from this company and Amazon! ⚙️🚙

There is a slight, exceedingly fine dust that comes off on your hands as you work with this. There are some *similar* products with coatings variously described and usually having a “-thane” suffix that stabilizes, stiffens, and provides increased U/V tolerance. My guess is than a final heat-treatment through an annular die is intended to mostly bond carbon-black into this UHMWPE rope since carbon is frequently used due to it’s non-abrasive character compared to titanium dioxide.NOTE: and Caution — as delivered, the locked Brummell eye was NOT tapered in the bury. Easily fixed but you need to know this before you pull at max. Also, the stainless thimble in the eye is completely useless as it is EASILY bent with the fingers of one hand and so will do nothing to increase/preserve the radius of the eye under max loading. You are buying this for the 50 foot length at a killer price — the cosmetic bits are just window dressing — yes, if needed I would buy this again.
