Nice design although you will lose filter media under hood. Edge is thin and recommended gasket from Moroso doesn't stay on this base. Fabricate a flat edge if you can, but this should already come with a flat edge

I almost got this and realized the lip that sits on the carb is not rolled or folded its just a metal edge.. Your going to shred any gasket and parts of that gasket may go into your engine.

Great hard to find "velocity stack" although like one reviewer said the bottom where it mounts onto the "carburetor flange/neck" or in my case "holley sniper tbi/efi unit" is a sharp thin edge but if you use a "sure seal spacer" you'll be fine!
