I'm always on the lookout for good baskets to put baked things in, and I absolutely love this one! It's a great size for taking enough to share without being as awkward as my big basket which doesn't even have handles. This has the delightful advantage of both handles AND lids, and a lining is very helpful too. I haven't tested the picnic blanket but I'm sure we'll get a chance this summer. One thing I do really appreciate about the basket: the "hinges" for the handles seemed very awkward until I realized they're on heavy wire, so I can bend them to make them move more smoothly! That's honestly a really smart idea for a part that needs to move frequently, since any kind of wood/wicker solution would wear out, and it gives it literal flexibility for a long time.
