A-B Repeat Function

This is a really great recorder. It is slim and light weight and sits nicely in the hand. The playback is clear and easy to hear. The battery life lasts quite awhile too. It works well for my 92 year old father to dictate stories from his youth, which makes us both happy.

I need this recorder to run all night while I sleep to capture my neighbor's annoying barking dog but it keeps shutting off after 40 minutes. The recordings have a lot of static even though it lies perfectly still on a window sill, so I don't know why that would happen. I also find the instructions difficult to follow. The device is heavy and well built/good quality, but it just doesn't do what I need it to do. The search continues!

This dictaphone has good sound and its easy to use, but it takes around 15 seconds to start recording. A lot of important things can be missed in 15 seconds. The worst part is that it has only 8GB. It literally says it on the back of said device. Amazon claims this has 136GB. I'm here to inform you that it does not. I'm also here to say that I wouldn't recommend this dictaphone to anyone. Do not buy this dictaphone. There surely is better than this out there.P.S. This is the first product I've ever purchased from amazon and my first ever review. Didn't expect things to go like this. I'm just really upset that I was lied to. Nice one Amazon. 👍Now I'll think twice about buying from you.

This recorder worked really good before I ran it through the washer and dryer. It had great audio and ease of use. After a full wash cycle and being dried, it STILL works just as good as before.

It's TINY. That's the first thing that struck me. I thought "what on earth did I order that came in such a small box?" Easily fit in my jeans pocket with plenty of room to spare. After I got over that, I picked it up and it felt good in the hand--hefty and durable. The instructions are easy to follow (if a bit quirky at times in the translation) and the operation of the device is simple. It has adjustments for recording sensitivity depending on the volume and distance from the sound source being recorded. The internal playback speaker is tinny (as you might expect) but the file exported to the computer sounds fine and is useable for transcription purposes. For the price, you're not likely to do much better.

I've tested a few of these small digital recorders. While none of them give you the playback sound quality that your smartphone might give you, having something like this that is so small and convenient to put in your shirt pocket is nice to have. I find that a smartphone only works for certain situations, whereas this works for most situations.This one in particular has a color screen. While that may not seem to be important, I find that the color screen makes it easier for me to see the screen. Another nice feature about this recorder is that it records to a micro SD card, whereas most other recorders record to internal memory. Since micro SD cards are very cheap, this allows me to save an infinite number of recordings by simply throwing the card into a drawer once it fills up and then insert a new one.Battery life was never an issue for me, as I have a habit of plugging my devices in to a charger when not being used. This ensures that my phones, smartwatch, recorder and other controllers are always at a full charge. With the built in speaker to playback recordings, this is a nice little recorder that does what it is intended to do, and with the micro SD slot, it provides unlimited storage for my recordings.
