I've bought Tayama brand hot water pot before, this is my 3rd time purchase. It usually last many years, even longer than the Tiger or Zojerushi, well worth the $. This is an inexpensive brand, reliable product. I use filtered water so that no descaling needed and prolong the life of small appliances.Don't like this new design too much. Wish the company had kept the simple/original hot water pot design. I don't need to know the temperature nor hear the little beep noise when I get hot water.Overall satisfied with the purchase.
