Nice assortment of sizes and colors are available. I ruined a few before I learned how to make it work. Easy after a few failures. Low learning curve.

I have gotten into cutting leather on my laser and these worked great for my wallets and key chains I have created so far. Easy to use!

Set is nice and works well with lots of clasps. Not overly difficult to use but expect to waste a couple until you get it. Once you got it, they are great. Velcro stopped working on the flap of a bag I have so I used these clasps instead. When you install the top piece, or the decorative part, put a cloth between the finished surface and the little anvil that come with set. I notice a couple scratches and nicks in the finish. Used a cloth for the second one and all was good. Although these work well, I do find they are not super strong. It does not take much force to unclasp them. I put two on this bag for added strength. The second picture shows the underside of the top decorative piece. There are two bars on either side that grab the bottom piece's post and "click" into place. You can slightly pry these more into the centre (towards each other) and this will tighten the grip. However, only do this slightly with a tiny screwdriver as too much and the bottom piece's post will not fit and then the clasp will not work. Still, even after a slight adjustment, they dont take much to undo. However, for clothes, small bags, etc, they are fine.

The product is exactly what it appears to be. There are plenty of pieces, good variety, sturdy tools. The singular issue I’ve had in using them is that they seem prone to loosening up after a few snaps. I have them a test with a little leather strip and after about a dozen snaps it felt like it was coming loose.Basically, I’d say these are perfect for crafts you won’t need to unsnap and reshape consistently. Something like a luggage tag you can leave on or a keychain is a better bet than bracelets and clothing.

Edit:Tried a different table in another room the next day. Did this for noise purposes but it actually made it so much better in terms of installation. The first table I used is a decently sturdy ikea work table/desk. second table was a thicker sturdier wood table in the kitchen. Both times I had a cutting mat under to not ruin either tables. The first time (first -kid jacket) took me like 1.5 hr to install and messed up a ton of hardware.Second time (second -adult jacket) took me about 30-40min at most. Was a lot more secure and didn’t have to ruin any.I still am giving 3 stars because the material is super thin. Also for the fact most of the silver hardware was ruined in the process of trial and error.I used it on a thin- semi med thick quilt jacket I was making.***Wasted so many because they’re too cheap to install. I expected cheap but not this cheap.Pls just don’t buy. I’ve had to waste so many because they would get bent and not be properly installed.I’m hammering like a thousand times on each one and it still feels like they’re not secure.Super thin metal. Like really thin. They look really good in the end though. Glad I found a better way!

This is a nice little selection of a variety of poppers used for leatherwork. Like some other reviewers, I would suggest the instructions are very poor, but given some thought, the process is simple enough. Got excellent results from the first one; look smart and clip well. I used a rotary hole punch rather than the punch supplied; only issue is that the punch supplied is 2.5mm but when using the rotary pliers, needed 3mm diameter to get the clips through. But this is a minor issue. Happy with my purchase.

The same manufacturer of these also made a set of rivets I bought recently, and so I shouldn't be surprised that these are also garbage. The first issue I ran into (which is arguably my fault) is that I interpreted the pictures as showing the outer part of the button as being the decorative side, but with a hole in the middle like some jeans buttons do. This is not the case. If you are like me and saw the pretty star pattern and decided you want it to show on the outside, you will be disappointed. All the decorations on these pieces are for the inside. That nobody sees. Ever. Except you. Sometimes. I'm not saying pretty snaps and sockets aren't good and fun, but if I want a plain button I'd have just used what I already have. That works better. So, the tools. The punch isn't great. I used it on both cloth and leather and it only barely broke through (using a claw hammer). I wound up using a sharp awl for my project, which was a pair of jeans for a doll. The anvil is too big. The setter was too small. So small, in fact, that even through a cloth, it left a perfect little dent in the button face.So in lieu of all that I wound up using my Dritz riveting kit, which worked much better. However...These things don't catch very well. They rattle and don't hold. In order to obtain a strong hold, I wound up warping the socket, as seen in one of those pictures. Warped so badly that the post wouldn't fit. In the second picture, you can see where I had only begun thinking about prying it off when it literally just crumbled in my hand. So I guess if you use these on cloth don't worry about ruining the fabric cuz this stuff will fall right off if you look at it sideways. So in the end I wound up using Dritz stuff that I already had but was hoping to set aside for something prettier. Learn me, I guess.Long story short, if you like the designs, you won't be seeing them in action. Even if that doesn't matter, these things are about as sturdy as a wet roll of toilet paper.
