Purchased this to score card stock I needed for crafts but the ruler measurements do not line up with the score lines making the score lines uneven and the craft projects a little wonky.

I don't know how sturdy this scoring board is. It feels for the weight of the board it's a little pricey.I do like it. overall. The design is very good in terms of adding a trimming blade, and being a folding board that collapses into two halves, which makes it more portable.However I'm concerned that the board is thin and won't be sturdy enough to last for a long time and that the middle hinges might break. Also the little retaining pins can be pulled out and lost. I do appreciate that the scores are spaced 1/16th of an inch apart, which is good. I don't know other score boards will have that feature, so there are definitely some pros and cons to this score board.Another pro is that it can accommodate a 12 x 12" paper, which is the norm for scrapbook pads, however a con is that it's not clear how to replace the trimming blade when it gets dull. It would be helpful to explain how to replace the blade in the description page, or to offer an information sheet with the shipped product.I think that this product is competitively priced, I just wish that they would have made the board itself a little thicker so it was more sturdy. For this reason, and not providing information about a replacement blade, I took away a star and can offer a 4-star review.To gain a 5-star review, the manufacturer would have to correct the thickness, prevent the retaining pins from coming out of their slots, and educate the buyer how to replace the trimming blade. On all other features this item offers a usable design, it just might not last that long.

The first issue was when I opened this to find the cutting piece isn't properly attached. One of the hinges is completely missing. Not broken off, from what I can tell, just actually MISSING, like it was designed to only attach to the board at one end instead of both, so the plastic just wobbles constantly when trying to align or cut something. And there's so much movement to it that it doesn't just cut in a straight line along the track. So I had to go back and retrim everything with a ruler and an xacto to actually get a straight edge, which kinda defeats the entire purpose of the board.

I really like the idea of both a trimmer and a scoring board in one product. One that extends out to 12x12 is even better! I like using this trimmer and it's convenient to store. One of the things I like most is that to use the blade you have to press down. This allows you to move the blade to different positions without having to lift the plastic holding bar. The one thing I wish it had but it does not is a wire guide like other popular trimmers to make your cuts more precise. Over all I really like this trimmer and am happy that I ordered it.

I will be using this today. For some crafts, it's easier to score it yourself with the scoring board than using a cricut machine.

This scoring board is all right. It definitely does score, although the creases it creates are very thin. I just feel like the overall quality has a cheap plastic field to it though. It feels really light and like it could chip almost. But it does the job as described, it does create creases. I do like that you can fold it up, nice and compact, and you can put the scoring tool in a That they supply. I’ve used it to fold writing a paper so far and I haven’t had too much trouble. I think this is good for small projects and a quick fold. This board is quite handy if you are a paper crafter. You can use this to score your cards exactly where you want it to fold. Additionally, you can use the trimmer to get the paper just right. There are both US and Metric markings in both the scoring direction and the cross direction. The downside is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to replace the blade when it gets dull. The seller does not mention if there are replacements available, and it doesn't seem to fit the orange slider from my other trimmer. The board also folds to take up less space. Folded, it measures 7x14 inches.

This is decent quality for the price, but it is pretty lightweight and the cutting isn't that great. I expected it to be able to cut through heavy duty cardstock, but it left it uneven due to pulling. I prefer my other one but I wanted a bigger surface to work with. It will do but I have to clean up the edges after.
