Used this for an on-off switch for an LED light strip that didn't have one. The switch is small and unobtrusive, and worked exactly as I wanted. Of course, required attaching the bare wires from this switch to the bare wires that feed the LED strip ... So if that's beyond you, this switch isn't going to be useful.

I used this switch for my new fog light, I didn't like the switch that came with the wiring harness, needed to drill a hole for that 1, so I bought this, it's perfect for my needs and sticks great on the dash of my car.

This is a real little switch which came with a scotch lock connector and two cable clips. I bought it to isolate some lights in my van and it was very easy to instal , although I didn’t use the scotch lock I used a shrink connector to ensure moisture sealing. It comes with self adhesive pads on the switch and the cable clips but the adhesive is not very strong and the clips wouldn’t stay on the plastic trim of my van. Overall I am please with the switch and would buy one again.

I was expecting Poor quality because of the price but i risked it, bought it and I Was Wrong!!! This is a GREAT switch!!! Quality gauge wire, durable plastic housing and good quality double sided tape. Very easy to install… Most negative reviews of this switch are because PEOPLE DON’T know how to read!!! The instructions AND wiring diagram CLEARLY shows that the yellow wire is the NEGATIVE (-) wire or the ground wire. The red is the positive wire (cars battery or fuse on the fuse block) and the black wire connects to the positive wire of the accessory you want to use with it. ***DON’T leave negative reviews if you don’t know how to read instructions and you damage something due to your own foolishness***

Ok.. second attempt at writing a review. Amazon wouldn't post my first one even though it was a positive review because they said it contained either profanity or harassment or hate speech or seggsual activity. It contained NONE of that... I think their A.I. must have flagged my use of the phrase "LED strip lighting"??Pro’s: The switch works great, the wire gauge is appropriate for my application. I installed an LED strip light under the hood of my car. The switch housing appears to be well sealed, wires have shrink-tubing applied - you have to heat shrink it yourself which is great for customizing connections, the switch...The wire colors are not to US industry standard (black for ground/earth) and red for positive. Pay attention to this as the seller has clearly noted it in the product listing. I took one star off because of this and because of the erroneous review flag. Being able to submit an honest review is a non-negotiable contract with me, the buyer. That aside... the product works great for it's intended purpose.

Pros: Was delighted to find a switch I could mount in a very particular location on my dashboard without drilling holes. Also love the tactile, positive-feeling rocker action, the solid, relatively handsome exterior, and most of all, the choice of LED colors for "on" indication. My intended application is for auxiliary high-beam lights; I chose the switch that illuminated in blue, universally used for factory high-beam instrument panel lights!Cons: My unit arrived with shockingly obvious bubbles of material on its exterior housing -- apparent drops of a very hard, dry substance, possibly cement or sealant of some kind -- that could not be removed. Also, where ALL the photos of the ILLUMINATED switches on Amazon showed the "I" (for "on") symbol on the switch opposite the end of the wiring, mine came with the "O" symbol opposite the wiring. This posed a problem for me because rocker switches are typically installed such that they're moved up for "on," down for "off," and I wanted to install it that way with the wiring at the bottom.EDIT: Amazon promptly exchanged the switch; the replacement had no cosmetic issues at all. I have submitted a separate report regarding the inaccurate depiction of the wiring orientation; I've simply modified my particular installation plan for it to accommodate.Otherwise, buyers should be aware of expected tradeoffs of the no-drill design, namely that the cabling will remain visible where it exits the housing, and that the switch and housing (as shown in the dimension diagram image on Amazon) will stand off from the mounting surface by about an inch (actually a plus for my particular application).Also, switches like these do need to be wired a very exact way (I know from experience) to achieve desired illumination of the LED (on applicable options) that isn't necessarily intuitive. Instructions are on the product page; no documentation at all is included with the device.
