Silver Alloy Contacts
Contacts are very important to circuit breakers, especially for DC distribution with high arc extinguishing requirements. Good contacts can reduce the heat generated by arcing during disconnection and reduce the wear of the contacts. This DC mini circuit breaker uses silver alloy contacts, which protects your electricity safety for a long time.
Magnetic Arc Extinguishing
AC has a zero-crossing point, but DC does not, so DC arc is more difficult to extinguish than AC arc, which is why AC circuit breakers can Not be used for DC power, and DC circuit breakers can be used for AC power. This DC MCB is equipped with a magnetic field system under the breaking contacts, which can pull the arc to the arc extinguishing chamber to assist arc extinguishing.

Fits in a small box and does it's job without self destruction. Using a DC breaker is so nice. AC breakers can maintain an arc and cause heat issues. No worries here.

I used two of these to switch off solar for each of my solar arrays on the RV, they work well, fit in a nice box, and don't take up much space. I'm happy with the purchase.

These little breakers are great but note that Chtaixi 1-pole breakers are polarized. Their 2-pole breakers not polarized. So generally speaking in a solar/battery setup you will want the 2-pole breakers and not these.

Hopefully never need these, but will be glad I used them, if something happens. Seems excellent quality. The terminals are large enough to accommodate larger gauges of wire.

These breakers definitely work but caution should be used when using right at 12 volts with a weak power supply. I hooked these up for a test with a cheap 24 volt to 12 volt step down converter. When shorted, the load would cause the voltage to drop below 12v and these breakers would repetitively click but not trip. The result was very warm wires. Fortunately, other parts of my system shut down. I then hooked it up to a quality step down converter at 13.4 volts and these would reliably trip every time when shorted. I'm going to confidently use these with quality equipment for my entire setup (10 total breakers) Just make sure that your equipment doesn't drop below 12 volts. I'd also recommend checking the wire clamps after 24 hours as they like to "settle in" a bit and can take another tightening.

I used the circuit breaker on my e bike kit for my e bike conversion from regular fuse and it worked perfectly . This is a very good mini breaker and Iam going to buy more.
