Very nice well light. Much better than the old ones I'm replacing. I like that the bulb can be changed out. Can get bulbs with different light angles and even different colors if desired. The description of this item says it is "with 5W 450LM 2700K MR16 Bulb" but after I installed one and turned on, nothing. No bulb included!!!! I contacted the company and they apologized and sent me one very promptly. Great customer service!!

My project included 8 "beacon tops" and 8 "grille tops". What made me choose Gardenreet brand was it's ability to replace bulbs and it's heavy duty construction (these things are TANKS!). It took a few attempts at correct wattage and color temperature to get them looking how I wanted, but am very pleased with them. After reading comments, I see that complaints about bulb insertion were common. I found that bending the metal clips that hold bulb in place slightly so that bulb can be wiggled when inserted helped with that. I also used dielectric grease on pins (as I do with all outside electrical projects). These are expensive, but worth it!

I ordered this light to replace one that had corroded out and was no longer usable. It was the only option I could find online. When I received it I saw that it is a larger light than the one I am replacing (5-inch vs 4/inch), and I was about to return it. However, as I said, there were no lights that exactly matched the old one, so I have no choice but to use this one. It really is a good quality light, so the size difference can be overlooked. When installed, it looks good and works well. I like the fact that the housing is non-metallic, so it will not corrode like the last one did.

bought six, installed five, keeping one as spare. of the five installed, one light has started to flicker. not sure if it's the fixture or the led light, but i need to take apart to fix the flicker.

I’m pretty bummed. Spent the day installing these and they only give off about 2-3 feet of light. They are super bright to look at. No diffusing or frosted glass, just super clear where you can see the extreme brightness of an LED. It’s supposed to be a path light, but it doesn’t light up much. Spent a lot of time and money on these and I already want to replace them. The build quality is great but the lights are not.Edit: The vendor reached out and helped out nicely. They offered 7W bulbs or Beacon Top style lights, my choice. I went for the Beacon Top. The last three pics are of the Beacon Tops. You can still the LEDs a little depending on your view, but they throw the light a whole lot better. I’m happy with the different tops and the setup. The original Turrets don’t throw much light, but it could be my application since my path is short and has a curve, so inevitably I am usually staring at one. Thanks for following up Gardenreet!

I rated this as 4 stars due to the low light output. I wanted a low profile well light around my patio and this was aesthetically what I wanted. However, the extremely small opening resulted in very little light output. I changed from this one output turret top to a beacon top and got the light output I wanted. If you are looking for almost no light output this may be 5 stars for you, but I don’t see it as an effective path light. Photos show comparison of single turret output vs beacon top.
