I was having trouble with my 1980 75 hp Johnson Stinger outboard motor just clicking when the key was turned to start the engine. I replaced the solenoid with this one and my motor turned over as it should instead of just hearing the click. The power source post was shorter than what I replaced so I had to just put both of those wires together versus having 2 separate nuts tightening each.
