Does exactly what is needed from it. Holding up strong in my jeeps engine bay to turn on my air compressors.

No directions, but the larger side poles are your between battery and load. The two smaller ones were for the switch. I used the left for ground and right for switch with 12v. The case is not grounded.

Failed after about 4 months of very limited use. Was using it in an application that only drew about 10 amps for 20 seconds at a time. Used it about 10 times total before it failed.

I bought this part to replace a 27year old solenoid/relay for a 1986 camper conversion van. This one so far (installed 2 days and have been testing for the same) has proved to work perfectly. I have been putting this solenoid under real world stresses and it has been functioning with no problems at all... Great product, FAST shipping...

I put a 600 watt sign wave inverter under the passengers seat in my lancer. Because of the current draw ans the length I used AWG # 4 stranded wire. You do not want this wire to be "HOT" all the time, so this relay is the correct part for the job. Seems to be working great.

This little gem has been running my glowplugs in my diesel for a few months now. It withstands extreme vibration(usually bad for solenoids), oil contamination, and underhood temperatures. I burned up three starter solenoids before I started using a continuous duty solenoid and this one has lasted. Buy this product, it will work for you.

Does exactly what I want. It charges 2 batteries while engine is on,and drops out the 2 second battery when engine is in accessories or off. Wiring it was simple, and I used a 2guage wire to run to back of my truck bed for positive. and used a 4guage wire to ground for 2nd battery. On Relay I wired Car Battery positive to one large terminal, and 2nd Battery positive to other side large terminal. The 2 small terminals, one of them to ground (on body of car or truck) and other small terminal ran into fuse box and wired it to my A/C fuse which only gets power when turning ignition key to the full start position, this allows the relay to pull in and charge when vehicle is running only. When you turn ignition to accesories or off you should hear the relay click which means it dropped out the connection between Car and 2nd battery. Now I would recommend installing a 40 amp fuse between car battery, and relay for protection, and also a disconnect on 2nd battery for even more isolation if needed. This article is for quick reference on how to, and does not reflect amazons opinion, nor do I accept any responsibility for misunderstanding of explanation or wiring.
