This horn is really loud! Not 600dB, as that is literally impossible. However, it certainly sounds 130-150dB.Installation is easy. There's a black wire and red wire that need to be hooked up to positive and negative. Most factory horns are designed to connect the horn to ground for operation, so keep that in mind. If the horn doesn't work when you hook it up, try swapping the wires. It comes with an L-bracket and 4 bolts with nuts. You'll probably have to drill 2 holes in your vehicle to mount it.Its fairly large, measuring about 8.25-inches by 6.5-inches.

140db is more like what I would say these output. which is louder than a siren. These are loud and attention getting. I tested mine on the battery and the dog did get away from the area. The tone is fairly deep and sounds similar to a semi-truck. The wiring is pretty straight forward but be sure that the positive and negative are correct when connecting the horn. A lot of older vehicles switched the negative at the horn button instead of the positive. If you don't hear a loud blast that makes your dog run away, you may have the power backwards.

These horns are loud for being electric as no air lines are needed. You simply need to run wires from the power source so to the switch and then the horn. These are smaller and compact, so they can be mounted in any spot, mounting the horns to a surface was easy as there is a bracket to make it easy.

LOUD! But Awesome!I grabbed this for my Hyundai Accent to see if I can prevent more drivers from running into my car...(just had to replace the drivers door from a T-Bone wreck caused by a red-light runner)... I am thinking this will certainly get peoples attention....Overkill? Maybe...But fun none the less......

This is my 3rd horn of various models in the last couple years (unfortunately the location I have to mount it on my truck gets wet a lot and the motor units eventually crap out). Anyway, it's not even close to the loudest, maybe 120 DB at best, and it's the lamest tone you've ever heard. My stock truck horn is louder. Keep looking, this horn is garbage.
