would not recommend this product I had it less than a month used it less than 5 times and it burned out.Thought maybe water infiltrated the housing but it was dry. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought 3 of these and 1 doesn't work. Unfortunately, it took me a while to install and its a few days outside the return window. I would suggest buying a different light.

Had a more expensive color changing light that looked lame on anything other than blue or green, so when it died, I decided to go with a solid color replacement. The wattage seemed lower for this light than the expensive color changer, but all concern was kicked to the curb when I flipped on the switch. A powerful vibrant blue that lights up the whole cage. Solid recommendation on this light.

Loved the light while it worked. It was bright and had the perfect shade of blue. Unfortunately, it didn’t make it to even the two year mark, coming on 6 hours per night. I got just under 4000 hours of use, not what I would expect from LEDs.

I am using this as my main pool lite in an Amerlite 12v 300w housing. It is lights up my 30x15 pool beautifully. I have had it nine months with no issues to date, which makes it the best bulb I have had, and definitely the best value.

Hello to anyone this may help. We have a 10,000 gal(ish) saltwater pool in SW Florida. We replaced a 4-year-old 24W (12v) cheap color-changing bulb with this bulb. Previously it was an original high-powered white bulb. Blue worked well for a year or so but many colors went bad. Green still worked and we stuck with that for the last few years and got used to it. Recently replaced the old color changing bulb with this single color ocean blue bulb and it is so much brighter and a very blue hue. This a brand new install and I cannot speculate on how long it will last since cheap(ish) LEDs tend to burn out and lose brightness over time. However, the first impression is it is an awesome light. With that said and previous research, I realistically expect bulbs like this will need to be replaced every three years or so, including seal. Good luck!

Ordered this after looking at the price and review, the LED worked perfect. It has a very good angle and lights up the pool very well.NOTE: If this is your first time replacing your incandescent or halogen lamp with LED, it might not work initially. The fix is to take a plastic fork/spoon and using the handle gently life the tab in the LED holder gently. Incandescent/Halogen bulbs have larger end and it presses on the bulb holder and cause it to get depressed.
