This solenoid relay was the ticket! If your winch goes out, but not in (in a snow plowing scenario), it’s likely the solenoid relay and not the rocker switch. But this relay comes with the thumb rocker, so, no worries. I have a 2009 Can Am 400, and this solenoid relay fit exactly as the worn out one that I replaced. But, if you’ve ever replaced one on a Can Am, it’s no picnic, as you will need to remove the wheel and much of the cowlings covering the side of the machine to get at this project. But your work will not be in vain, as the product will fit, the wires and nuts are color-coded for simplicity hook-up. And it’s reasonably priced! I have a full plowing season under this one’s belt, with no issues.

Bought this to replace the solenoid on my quad, something told me I was wasting my money. Yep, sure enough solenoid was junk, but the switch worked as it was supposed to. if it weren't for the switch. well, there would be no stars

I used for winch on my ATV Plow, didn't last even 6 months. My Winch works fine when hooked straight to battery so I know winch works, either the relay or the switch went bad within 6 months. Get no action out of the relay. No warranty post!
