Normally these things don’t need much instructions but the wiring diagram has a picture of 6 wires but the actual controller only has 3 so you immediately feel the frustration, chinese wire colors aren’t always what we’re used to in civilization societies.I’m keeping it, I’ll figure out the wires, another thing is the wires are combined 6 wires on one string, two sets, I hate having wires all over the place or interfering with the mechanics at the shop but sometimes there is no choice…. I got everything out and ready to install but realize this is going to take some thought where I want the wires located so that’s as far as i got so far.I have two bikes, Harley Roadglide and a GSXR750 the Harley already has the square led lights so I’m thinking to switch now because this sets wires seem too bulky for the gsxr…. But the Harley doesn’t have as many hiding places like a street bike does with all its plastic..Like most products it seems whoever made this has never installed them on a bike so not much thought or engineering was put into the installation and wire placement, it’s either way too long or too short.It’s only 4 wires so I’m thinking I’m going to cut the wires and create my own harness that’s more efficient and better fitting.

Easy install, but I'm not big on the way they are wired. Looks like an octopus. Each light has a separate wire instead of being connected on a circuit. Other than that very good product.

I really like this light set. It is similar to many others out there except it includes the ability the use a phone app. It also has a keychain remote and regular remote that allow for control of its features.Set up will require some soldering/crimping of wires and basic knowledge of electrics and wiring, but it's not difficult. It does take some time to do it well and tuck wires out of sight.All in all, it looks great and is easy to customize a look.

The remote basically falls apart when you take the screws out and pop the back cover off. Take photos of it together and lay it face down after you remove the two screws and pull the back cover off. Take photos of the board before you remove it and then after you remove it. It was taken apart to find out what battery I needed to stock which is a CR2016. Where the screwdriver tip points there is an LED that shines through the slot in the front of the case so you know the battery is good if it is not working. Just be aware of that when you reassemble it. The two long black tubes are heat shring. None of the connectors are water proof so you need to heat shrink them all so keep that in mind when you start installing this. I would also buy a bit more heat shrink 1 inch ID heat shrink. This is made to go on and stay on. Each strip has a full length tack strip on it and it is sticky. Clean all oil and grease off surfaces before you apply these so they stay on.The 4 button remote is programmable. The larger remote has an led on the top end to let you know the battery is good. Both remotes use RF to communicate with the module that drives the lights.Keep that in mind when you install that module- make sure it is not isolated from the remote's signal.You can turn these off. There is a phone app and a couple qr scans for help. The module that drive the lights is listed as waterproof. They give you a few ties but I would suggest you have ties and the mounting pads that you can attach a tie and what it is holding to. The total harness length is about 59 inches from the module and there are two harness coming out of it so one to the back and one to the front. You get 12 led strips 14, 10, 6 inch- 4 of each. Give yourself time to install this. it is not a 1 hour install. I plan on 6-8 hours to do it right so it has no issues and long life. Remember there is considerable harness to tie up out of sight.
